> 3 dayWorks flawlessly, only 3 complaints i have are the mount being wobbly and a little unstable, you get what you pay for in this case and the mount happens to be what little quality is sacrificed here. The second issue i had is that the monitor actually isnt 60hz, at 1080p full hd full screen gaming, the refresh rate is actually a non overclockable 59.94hz, which irks my OCD for reasons unknown to me. The thirf complaint i had is a minor issue, and actually has to do with one of the major benefits; being that the extremely effective i might add matte coating has virtually no glare that i can tell, but it smudges quite easily unfortunately. Otherwise this is a great product at the price range its in, the only monitor with a full hd HDMI port on a monitor less than $140 new, image quality and color representation is very true to life and incredibly sharp, and the monitor has a fair bit of settings depending on what you use it for, all in all a great package for $99

13-06-2025Im a designer and frantically needed a bigger monitor to connect my MacBook to. I wanted to get a decently sized and affordable monitor that wouldnt cost me an arm and a leg like a Thunderbolt would. Right around $100, this monitor had great reviews (even had a review from a fellow designer) and had same day shipping. I bit the bullet not expecting much. When it arrived, I was really impressed by how easy it was to set up - look me about 10 minutes total from opening the boxes to taking off all the plastic to get this baby up and running. Remember to purchase an HDMI to HDMI cord if youre a fellow Mac user so that you can actually use this guy. Or get a VGA to thunderbolt adapter and youll be golden. This monitor comes with a VGA to VGA cord (youve been warned). This is a fantastic product for a designer or anyone who just needs a bigger monitor. Normally Im very wary of HP products (like laptops because they all are miserable machines) but this doesnt fall into the group of things you must steer clear of.

10-06-2025Bought this for my computer for leasure activity and it was great for the price. But make sure your computer has the amount of necessary plugs for it. I had to buy a dongle for one of the monitors. The picture if good for gaming I can play steam on here with FarCry 4 and it look great havnt noticed any monitor lag. Same when I play minecraft. I would buy this for anyone who doesnt care about extreme monitor looks. I just needed something simple and so I got two. I plan to buy better ones in tbe future for my digital drawing but not till I save up alot and that wont be for awhile. My dad saw these and when I told him about my plans he already claimed them.

> 3 dayHonestly this is a great monitor for gaming. My other monitor was a bit bigger which made it harder to game, therefore I wanted to down size a bit to see if there would be a difference which is was! Great purchase! It’s not a bad price as well. The only thing is that it says it can adjust the screen but I’m too scared to move it around since it’s not budging. But either way there’s no need for me to move this one around. And it also has a very slim look which is great! In love and will be purchasing more in the future! Took a picture how it looks with the lights on, and off. Brightness is still great!

Greater than one weekI was a little disappointed in the monitors, although I guess for the price it was a decent bargain. The reason I wasnt so happy with them is due to three factors. First off, the AC/DC power supply for these monitors is not built into the monitor itself; its a fairly large external box. The DC section of the cord coming out of the box isnt long enough to reach from the floor to my desk, so they have to sit on my desk. I bought two of these monitors, so I have two roughly 2 x 4 boxes sitting side-by-side so about 4 x 4 of my desk is taken up by power supplies. Second, the stand for these monitors looks nice enough, but theyre very wobbly. When I type or bump the desk I can see them wobbling which is a little distracting. I have owned a lot of Dell monitors, and generally they have a very sturdy stand. Also I purchased them for dual monitor use, but the stand has the screen cocked at a slight angle, so when sitting next to each the edge of one screen was about 1/4 to 1/2 higher than the other. I stuffed a couple black plastic zip ties underneath the edge of each monitor to fix that. Annoying... And third, one of the two initial monitors I bought had a clearly visible area of the screen that was discolored. A plain white window would turn a very noticeable green hue toward the edge of the screen. Poor quality control. So these monitors are still a decent purchase, but if youre looking for high quality youre probably better off spending a little more money.

Greater than one weekI was looking for a dual monitor setup for my new PC setup, and I had an old Acer monitor which had a resolution I wasnt happy with. I decided to search for a good monitor for a price I could have a budget for, yet enjoy. I found this excellent IPS monitor. This monitor arrived in a clean box, and had instructions provided to properly setup the monitor, with a clean sheet applied to the screen to prevent light damage to the screen in shipment. Upon opening, I noticed it came with a complimentary VGA cable (didnt use it, since I prefer HDMI). The monitor has two parts: a stand and the monitor itself. This was easy to set-up as well, and the sheet covering the monitor depicted the connections to build it clearly. After setting the monitor up, settings were easy to navigate and configure, and in seconds I was logging into Windows with a clear, crisp resolution which was much more pleasing to look at than my older Acer, which has light bleed and some funkier older pixels and colors. My monitor was clear of dead pixels, and was overall just as I needed for anything from browsing to gaming at a comfortable 80fps. I am in the process of purchasing another monitor to replace my older Acer. Thank you!

Greater than one weekI am ecstatic about this purchase for several reasons. I havent had a new monitor at home for several years, and they have come a long way since my last, 15-inch, square, LCD Samsung. Im not knocking the Samsung monitor; it was great when new, but now its just rather old, tired and dull. I did quite a lot of research before buying. My employer reimburses up to $75 for a home monitor to use for days when we work from home, so I wanted to come as close as possible to that price. I also wanted to step up in size to a maximum of 22 inches (to fit into the monitor recess of my bureau). Additionally, I had hoped to get an LED rather than LCD monitor. For inputs, I wanted VGA to use with my old desktop which doesnt have HDMI, plus HDMI to use with my work laptop. Since I hadnt been in the market for a monitor for a long time, I wasnt sure if I was asking too much. Well, I whittled the many possible choices I found down to this HP and an Asus with nearly identical specs. The Asus was priced $10 higher, but offered a $10 mail-in rebate. Well, I hate mail-in rebates, and I couldnt see me actually getting around to mailing it in and waiting 8 weeks for a $10 check that I would then have to take in to the bank to deposit. So I chose the HP - and, boy was I glad I did! I am so happy with this monitor! First of all, it fit perfectly in the space that was waiting for it, thanks to accurate measurements given in the product details in amazon.com. For setup, I thought I would be in for the usual new computer equipment nightmares where nothing works at first, then you have to jump through hoops, download drivers, reboot umpteen times, go back to the manual to find out what you did wrong, find out that the manual is only on disc but now you cant read it because your new monitor isnt working yet, yadayadayada... But no, setup was a breeze! I was done in about 15 minutes, the monitor worked first time on both my old desktop with VGA and new laptop with HDMI. There was one slight glitch that the initial picture was stretched sideways on the VGA connection to my old desktop, but after I installed the software from the supplied disc it worked fine. The picture via the HDMI connection from the new laptop worked perfectly first time, with no need to install anything. As for switching between VGA and HDMI, you just press a button on the underside of the frame. The picture is great, for my needs, at least. Bright and crisp, with no evident lag when running videos. As another reviewer put it perfectly: Is this a stunning, perfect display? No, not really. But it is perfect as a low-cost secondary display for a laptop.. I totally agree with that. My needs are average, I just only use it for work and for an occasional change from my personal laptop to look at a bigger screen to watch a video or something. I mentioned the accuracy of the stated product dimensions earlier. Well, there was one thing that confused me a bit. At the top left on the amazon.com page the bottom image is a silhouette of a person standing at a desk with the monitor in front of him. There is a vertical measurement shown there of 20 in/49 cm. I assumed this to be the height with the stand (thinking that the height in the Technical Details was without the stand). I thought this would be a problem, as I only had about 19 in vertical height where I wanted to site it. Well, when it arrived, there was no problem, as the assembled unit with the stand is, in fact, 15.8 in, not 20 in, so Im not sure what that 20 in in the silhouetted man picture represents. This monitor is an outstanding value and I have no hesitation in recommending it!

> 3 dayIm amazed at the world we live in today. I remember paying hundreds of dollars (even ignoring inflation) for lesser tech in the 80s and 90s, and now for a mere $100, you can get such a wonderful product. This thing is bright, well-made, and is smart looking. When its off, I can barely make out the screen from the frame. Its fairly simple, just a VGA or HDMI port on the back, and you can select between the inputs easily enough through the hidden buttons on the bottom edge next to the power button. There appears to be a glare deadening layer of plastic applied to the screen which diffuses lights really well. Even when pointing a bright smartphone flashlight at the screen from about 18 away, its noticeable, but not distracting. From about 3 feet away, I cant even see much but a faint reflection. Left and right viewing is awesome, cant hardly see any difference, up and down, grayness sets in after a point, but completely reasonable viewing. You have to work at making the image look bad. The settings are plentiful, you can even turn the power LED off if you dont want it on or turn on a sleep timer. Im really thinking I need another one of these, if not a handful of them. Excellent price for HP quality!

> 3 dayI want to give this product 5 stars however it has a glaring problem. When there is too much going on on the screen, the screen darkens. I was watching netflix when it happened. The show was glitter force and well to be honest i did not see it coming but when the main hero glitter lucky used her attack or transformed the screen went dark. This isnt the only time it happened either. When i use a special attack in some video games that create a lot of particles on the screen the screen darkens as well. This darkening might be a problem with configuration and i have not found a fix yet or it is unfixable. I know it is the monitor as on my main screen, i do not have a screen darkening issue. This problem is worth noting but not worth scrapping the product. It works for what it is, a second screen, and is worth the price i spent on it. I also wish i could stretch the screen with the built in buttons as the controls for the monitor are less than basic. However it works for now.
