> 3 dayGot to admit, I had my doubts but awesome monitor, easy on the eyes like they say. Make sure you do all the colors and calibration. Absolutely must use install with this monitor. Otherwise default drivers off center a little... with the install, you will love the control you have on this backlit monitor. This was my first so-called back lit monitor, I had no idea... however, what I found its like this. Did you ever have poor lighting like I do with no overhead lights in your house and you eyes hurt a bit? Well I do and I have to put the lights stand up ones all over the place to get best view. Well, with the backlit, you get it from behind as well, hurts less on the eyes. I think I got it and I think HP has something here. Not sure they have this on touch monitors. I have those I bought for $400 and more and they are nice but this is easy on the eyes. Dont be fooled by the cheap price, its high quality, really is.

> 3 dayThis my 2nd purchase of this make and model, the 1st was 2 years ago and still running like a champ. My recent purchase came with no surprises, it works, looks good, has what I need for specs and as before arrived w/o any dead pixels or any other defect. I needed more display space (now a remote employee!) and thought about going to a 27 or 32 inch. My inner boy scout took over and I decided to go with duals (what are the odds of both failing at the same time?) for redundancy. Very pleased with my choice. Just a heads up.. the unit arrived with a VGA cable, rather than HDMI as some listing show. Also, though the monitor can be VESA mounted, its up to you to get the adapter. I didnt need one, the supplied base is fine for my installation. Finally.. for the second time mine arrived in a HP box, clearly identifying the contents, glad I was home.

> 3 dayThese are run of the mill monitors. They arent gaming level but they are more than adequate for school or work. They were undamaged but had clearly been opened before. Packing materials were missing allowing the monitors to shift around in the box excessively. Luckily, there was no damage from the packaging. Cables were also loose in the box. No bag, no wire tie. No problem with the product thus far but they had both been open previous.

> 3 dayI had no idea how off my colors and exposure was off on my old monitor until finally upgrading to an IPS and holy cow has it made a HUGE difference. As a photographer we need this kind of technology to see how accurately we are editing our photos and this monitor was the most affordable option. Definitely WELL worth the money this is a absolute steal ive already noticed a huge improvement in the quality of my work. It is honestly like not being able to see and someone finally giving you a good pair of glasses thats how different IPS panels are. The unit itself is very thin and I didnt need to install any drivers just plugged in and was ready to go! You get a variety of color calibrating options which is great and the frame is NEARLY bezel free which looks very immersive. There is unfortunately no built in audio, which for me isnt a big deal. But do yourself a favor and get this if you create content.

> 3 dayI really like this monitor! Assembly was simple and easy. I like the fact that the power supply is not enclosed in to the monitor body. That allows the monitor to run cool and makes it easier to move it around. There are certain things that look much better on a photograph then they are in a real life. This monitor is not one of them. It is every bit as elegant as the best photo! I was a bit concerned that the stand may be flimsy but it is absolutely adequate and a very beautiful at the same time. This is my first monitor using an HDMI cable and I was really pleasantly surprised how easy it was to connect. If there is any room for criticism, it is regarding the manual. I am using Win 10 and at one point you are advised to go to HP support page and check for the newest software. When you get there, if you are not very careful, you may miss the warning that if you are using Win 10 and install the newest software version, you may use some functionality.. I did not bother to explore it further but kept the drivers that came on the CD. The colours are very nice and crisp and if you have a limited space available, this monitor is hard to beat.!

> 3 dayIs this a stunning, perfect display? No, not really. But it is perfect as a low-cost secondary display for a laptop. I work from home frequently, and my little laptop screen wasnt cutting it to connect to the bigger dual-monitor display setup I have on my desk at work. I needed something that was fairly inexpensive, but would be easy on the eyes when Im coding for work. I bought it along with a VESA adapter and a mounting arm, because I like to put my secondary displays in portrait mode, and the stand it comes with doesnt do that. Color and resolution seem pretty good. The back light is nice. Theres a tiny bit of light bleed around the edge of mine, but I use it in a fully lit room during daytime hours, so its not bothersome. I do wish that the place you put the VESA adapter or stand was more centered, because the monitor is a little wobbly, even on the arm I have it mounted on. Otherwise, its a solid monitor considering I only paid $100 for it. If youre looking for some fancy display for watching high definition movies and playing games, maybe this isnt it. But if you need a second or third monitor for internet browsing / writing code / basic stuff, this is a good choice.

> 3 dayA good modern PC monitor at a good price. I chose this model for several reasons - full HD resolution, non touch-screen (meaning it will stay clean), 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the black color (I dont care for white/silver electronics), perfect size for my deskspace, IPS, its reasonable sub 100$ tag, LED Backlighting, Energy Star Certified, and of course the HDMI port!! That was a must have feature for me, as my PC also sports HDMI. This replaced a 20 LCD monitor (VGA) I have had since 2007. What a great monitor this is! This is my first HP monitor and I must say I am impressed. I was surprised at how much lighter it is in comparison to my old monitor. Setup was easy just a few minutes. The HD picture quality of this using HDMI is so clear. I also dig the attractive slim (screen fronted) bezel design and thin side profile. Glad it doesnt have some light bleeding issues like Ive read some other monitors have. That would be unacceptable to me as I do also watch movies on it in a dark room. No dead or stuck pixels thankfully. A BIG thx to HP for putting a way to turn off the very bright power button in the settings. It does suck that HP includes an (outdated) VGA cable and not an HDMI -dont be so cheap HP -spend the additional 20 cents for bulk HDMIs. Sure you can spend more $$ and go bigger (albeit w no resolution increase), however for the price you cant go wrong w the 22. I would recommend it. 5 stars baby! Thx also to amazon for the free fast shipping

> 3 dayI like it and ive used it in the past but i don’t know why i feel like i got a used one.. also theres like a matte plastic piece on the screen that bubbles in the corner but i dont think you’re supposed to take it off. Other than that its good for work use

> 3 dayGreat looking display for the price and a nice size! I originally saw some great reviews for this product so that is what prompted me to choose this monitor, especially after seeing the reasonable price. I later saw some iffy reviews about the monitor stopped working just after getting it, so I started to get nervous as I was waiting for it to arrive.I was nervous because I did have a bad experience with an HP laptop in the past that did not last and questioned HPs reliability. I have only had this monitor for 3 months now, but I havent had any problems with it so far. I bought it as a second display for a laptop and the colors are very vibrant and have a sharp display. I was looking for a monitor that was adjustable and had all of the ports that I needed. This one did just that. The matte screen also keeps my monitor from collecting visible fingerprints. The monitor was pretty easy to set up. As an IT Specialist, I would highly recommend this product even if you are not on a budget.

> 3 dayLove the monitor, hate that I saw it had multiple connectivity options, including HDMI but not that is DOESNT include the HDMI cable. Bought this for a 3rd monitor and now have to wait again while I wait for the cable to arrive.
