> 3 dayTape stuck quite well and as easy to work with. I thought the length would be more than sufficient, but what with three stringers and all the other places I found to use it on, like railings, it was just enough.

> 3 dayIt is the same product as a name brand at greater cost. You should use it to cover deck joists where deck boards will rest, and I used it as well to cover deck screws holding the frame together. By the way I recommend (and did so) to caulk every other wood penetration event though I used treated wood. Overkill costs little but I do not want to ever replace rotten wood. I used composite deck boards and expect the deck to last 25 years.

Greater than one weekIt is an excellent deck tape. I have nothing to envy to those of much more expensive brands, it worked great wonders.

> 3 dayMy original intention for this was as a moisture barrier between my new exterior deck stairway stringers and the Trex deck boards I also used on my stairs, and I discovered another bonus in the process. On some of the other deck joists where I used a copper brown wood preservative on the cut surfaces, and where those surfaces directly contacted the underside of the Trex composite boards, the wood preservative leached up into the boards and significantly discolored them! Wherever I used this tape, that leaching and discoloration did not occur. Its a bit pricey, but not a bad idea to use on top of all joists and stringers!

> 3 dayUse IMUS SEAL before applying deck boards. Whether you’re using wood or composite (eg TREX) sealing the top of the supporting joists is a must. This product exceeded expectations. I applied a week before I could install my TREX boards. Despite several rain storms it remained in place to complete the project. I used TREX screw connectors and they were compatible and made the job easy. I’m confident that this project will add years to the life of the support structure.

> 3 dayI recently replaced a redwood deck with a Brazilian hard wood. I noticed joist decay was primarily due to moisture in the gaps between the deck boards. After replaced and repair the joists, I applied this product. I am confident this will extend the life of the joists and deck board. Easily applied and great adhesion.

> 3 dayI am replacing my 20 year old treated decking with maintenance free decking and using the hidden clip fasteners. This product works well to cover the old holes and to just prevent water from sitting on the top of the boards. If you wipe off the boards first this does stick pretty well. Since it is black it also looks better in between the boards.

> 3 dayI had old, but dry joists that were is excellent shape. So I plugged the old nail holes and any splits in the wood, and then laid down this joist tape. It worked great. The adhesive is so thick and sticky that I believe it will keep moisture out as well as sealing the new nails/screws penetrating the joists. The project needed 5 rolls of tape, so the cost for the tape was reasonable to protect the joists for another long period of time.

> 3 dayI used black Ipe Clips to fasten down my deck, and this tape makes the clips effectively disappear. The adhesion is incredible - highly recommend.
