> 3 daySuper sticky black tape. Need a blade to cut it. Pain in the behind if need to remove it. Stops the water.

> 3 dayWorked as expected. Slightly difficult to remove the backing from the adhesive side but nothing that would prevent me from buying again.

> 3 dayVery easy to apply. Sticks well and until you press it firmly in place you can usually reposition it. I dont have any concerns with the tape and recently bought 2 more rolls for the next phase of my deck. After 3 months in the Texas heat, the tape is holding up well.... of course its way too early to rate the durability.

> 3 dayUsed 17 rolls on a pretty large deck. Was in 100 degree heat during installation and no problems

> 3 dayThis tape is better than described. I applied it to the tops of my joists and stair stringers (glossy black strips in the photo). I wish Id know about it 10 years ago otherwise Id not be replacing my stringers. The tape withstands several step-board on and offs to install railing posts and the tape will not ride up the screws. If youre looking to extend the life of your exposed decking support structures this stuff is easy to work with.

> 3 dayIm redoing and outside deck. The joists are still ok but...Ive used this on other decks and it is great at preventing water from rain/snow from entering the joist via screw or nail holes. You will be thankful you used this stuff down the road.

> 3 dayI have used this in the past around a pool deck. It was quite sticky and was not a problem using as long as you remove the backing as you go. I recently used it again rebuilding a deck under a hot tub. It seems that bromine used in hot tubs will cause treated wood to break down and rot. After five years I had to replace the deck so I now have composite decking on top with this tape to protect the joist below.i feel confident using this tape will stop any rot below the decking. Although its not inexpensive, I recommend using this product.

08-06-2025It meet and exceeds all expectations, only issue all the rolls seemed run short measured several times to make sure I had enough for joist on my deck and was still about 4 feet short

> 3 dayAdhesive is very good on dry wood. Don’t expect it to stick to pressure treated lumber that is still wet.

> 3 dayI used black Ipe Clips to fasten down my deck, and this tape makes the clips effectively disappear. The adhesion is incredible - highly recommend.
