> 3 dayBut I don’t recommend for pet owners. Get a different roller brush if you have lots of hair.

> 3 dayOverall I like it, it does a really good job cleaning and makes sure to get every inch of the floor. However if I try to send it home early, it takes another 30-45 minutes before itll go home, and my app doesnt always work. I have my notifications turned on and havent gotten a notification in weeks. Also, when I go into my app now it just says connecting instead of at home, in a job, stuck on a cliff, etc. But it still goes out and cleansing and does it well!

19-11-2024I tried 5 different rooms and countless furniture configurations. The only conclusion I can come to is the vacuum is now obsessed with figuring out how to get stuck. It seems once it learns how to get stuck it will go to that location over and over. I’ll watch it pound over and over to wedge itself under a chair. It will bump into obstacle, turn to wide open floor, stop, and turn back to the obstacle then proceed to bang at it for several minutes. Do you have table and chairs? Thats it’s favorite place to get stuck. It will move chairs to lock itself in. Quite impressive. My last hope was a room that has a 2 step drop to another room. The first time it handled “the Cliff” really well, couple of quick tests and moved on. Second time, directly to the cliff, stuck, third same, 4th same. I’m done. Waste of money.

> 3 dayIt does a terrific job climbing up on to my rugs from the hardwood, and over bits of trim between rooms. It manages the cat fur tumbleweeds all over my house. It avoids falling down the stairs every time. I have about 800 square feet on my main floor, and the robot gets that job tackled in about 70 minutes. About one out of a dozen times it will get hung up on my pedestal style dining table. It goes up the pedestal foot like a ramp, it’s wheels come off the floor and it hangs there helpless. Then it calls me for help. No big. I wish it had a lower profile so it could clean under my couch. That feels like a couch problem though, not a robot problem. I occasionally wish I’d splurged on a model with mapping so I could ask it to clean a specific room while I’m not in it. That sounds like a me problem though, not a robot problem. A lot of reviews complain about things that I feel are lack of maintenance. Low suction- replace the filter. Not picking up hair any more- clean or replace the brush. The spinny bit that cleans along the baseboard isn’t spinning- take it off and clean it. Not charging- clean the contacts. The parts are cheap. The maintenance is easy. Take care of your Roomba and it will take care of you.

> 3 daySo I have a yellow lab whose job it is to deposit many dogs worth of hair around the house. With hardwood floors, after a day it doesnt look like I ever vacuum. This is a nice sub $200 solution. For less than I pay my cleaning lady, my floors stay nice looking all week. The added benefit is that it helps force me to take the extra 2 minutes prior to leaving the house to get things off the floor. The one downside is having to empty the thing every time when I get home. The debris catcher is always full of dog hair.

> 3 dayI was replacing a much older one with a battery that finally gave out. I’m very excited about this new Roomba, I love it being connected to Wi-Fi. You just start it from the app wherever you might be instead of having to remember to reach down and hit the button to physically turn it on before you leave the house. This one has a lower profile, is much lighter and doesn’t slam into everything like my old one did. It did a great job cleaning my wood and tile floors as well as the low pile rugs. So far it hasn’t gotten caught on a few obstacles my old one would routinely get stuck on. Definitely an upgrade. I did have a bit of a headache getting it connected to the wifi using the app. After trying several attempts where it just kept searching for the Roomba but never found it I eventually did a factory reset holding the spot and home buttons which corrected the issue and then it connected without a problem. Be sure you are connecting to the 2.4 GHz band instead of the five with your phone doing the “easy” set up since you probably automatically connect to five on your phone. If you have a pet, a robot vacuum is a must, it makes it so easy to keep clean. The dustbin isn’t huge but that’s just the nature of the beast, be sure to dump it since you can’t do that remotely. Love my Roomba.

> 3 dayMake sure all your cords and cables are picked up off the floor and you still should vacuum every other week or so with a real vacuum and if you have cats youre going to have to clean the hair out of it a cat brush works really well for removing the hair from the vacuum brush. This thing is amazing it cleans the vinyl tiles and the carpet this. The back door area where my cat box is at after Ive cleaned the cat box I left the cat box up out of the area set the vacuum down there press the go button and it takes off and cleans the perfectly when its done it lets me know I pick it up set it on the kitchen floor hit home and it drives right back to the home station docks itself most days it has no problem at all every once in awhile. Someone will leave a wire on the floor for a cell phone and it will eat it. But all you have to do is flip it over push the two little yellow tabs and it easily comes apart a little spinner brush is easily removed with a small Phillips head screwdriver the filter in the compartment that holds the dirt pops right out in his easily rinseable even if this thing only lasts a year it was worth the money to buy it because I dont have to vacuum But like once a month. Between my son who is 12 and my cat I felt like I was spending every day sweeping the kitchen floor from my son dropping food particles everywhere and the cat tracking cat litter up the stairs and all over the kitchen floor. Again worth every penny. Im thinking about buying a second one for the second floor of the house.

> 3 dayok so if i really don’t care what it picks up it’s fine (i have animals so if the goal is to just pick up the excess hair) but if i have something i want it to vacuum it’s so freaking annoying it drives me crazy. with its “adaptive” cleaning pattern it may go over a mess one time bump into the wall and then run away to the other room and never come back before it says the job is “complete”. IT DRIVES ME INSANE. i literally have to babysit this thing whenever it’s running to make sure it actually picks everything up like it obviously helps me more then myself going around the house and vacuuming everyday but dang for this price you would hope it would be just a tad bit smarter. if you can afford it spring for one of the models with the “neat row” cleaning style so then when it hits something it doesn’t just RUN AWAY. the other thing it does is it may take the whole 90 minute charge to sweep my house and STILL miss the mess. like i don’t have time to do this cleaning so i am grateful for the device but i could literally sweep my whole house accurately in a third of the time.
