We have had a Rooma for the past several years. Finally beat it to death. Used it constantly. We purchased this newer model replaced that one. Very pleased with it. The first think my wife noticed was how much quieter it was. It seems to move more smoothly through the space. We use it on a combination of floors: wood, carpet, and tile. And it seems to me that it recharges more quickly than out previous model. It also had wi-fi capabilities, but we havent really had a reason to use that yet. Highly recommend this product.

I absolutely love my roomba. I have a two bedroom duplex and Roomba is able to vacuum and sweep the entire place. I really like how she is able to vacuum up on the tile as well as the carpet. This means I had no longer have to sweep my kitchen! :-) The run time is about 45 to 50 minutes and she is able to cover most of the duplex within that time. You will need to make sure that you keep her charging station clear of dust or debris or she may have a hard time finding her charging station. When I put her home I just set her close to the charging station and push the home button. The only downside is that you will have to clean out Roomba about once a month depending on how often you use it. It is important to take some of the parts off and clean them and clean her sensors off. I clean her about once a month after running her about three times a week. As far as pet hair she does a good job. I have two cats and a dog and she still does a great job. The roller does collect hair but as long as you clean Roomba out every month you will have no issues. The issues people have is when they dont clean her out or they dont clean the charging station. If you dont take the 20 minutes a month to clean her out you will run into issues. Overall I was a little skeptical at first but I do not regret my purchase at all and I will always have a Roomba in my life!

So I have a yellow lab whose job it is to deposit many dogs worth of hair around the house. With hardwood floors, after a day it doesnt look like I ever vacuum. This is a nice sub $200 solution. For less than I pay my cleaning lady, my floors stay nice looking all week. The added benefit is that it helps force me to take the extra 2 minutes prior to leaving the house to get things off the floor. The one downside is having to empty the thing every time when I get home. The debris catcher is always full of dog hair.

I had been reluctant to get one of these but I admit I am impressed with the quality and function of the Rumba. I have mainly carpet in my home and this will not totally replace using my manual deep cleaning vac The Rumba does a great job picking up loose surface type dirt and the only thing I have to do is use the app to start it. It would be perfect for hard flooring. It goes everywhere and does well at edge cleaning. It also can do scheduling ( how often and when to an area), generate a report for each vacuuming session and other functions. I clean mine after each session to keep it in good shape. It is very easy to clean and the brushes and filter need to be replaced occasionally but there is an internal log for that too. All in all it does a great job saves me from having to do it so often.

We have a cat that sheds a lot and we bought this to try and help keep the amount of dust bunnies under control. Our home is mostly laminate flooring with occasional area rugs. It does well for the most part, but the area rugs still need traditional vacuuming every two weeks or so. Cons: This robot vac is LOUD and not very bright. It will get stuck going in circles frequently and is not very good at navigating obstacles. Pros: Wi-Fi capable. Can vacuum under my couch where the cat likes to hide. Makes it so I dont have to manually vacuum multiple times a week. Not the worst robot vacuum, but not the best either.

I am very pleased with my vacuum. It does a great job on my hardwoods and transition well three to the rugs. It’s very easy to clean once your finished vacuuming. Comes with great filters that are easy to clean as well.

I got this for a gift for a family member but once we waited 3 hours for it to fully charge, we were faced with an error message, we contacted the roomba IT support team and they couldn’t figure it out and i also contacted amazon IT support team and amazon ended up sending me a replacement. which works great! i just wished it worked well the first time

I live in a single floor apartment with berber carpets and tile floors, just me, no pets. This is perfect for what I need and when it works it does the job, but... Its like watching a toddler with ADD run the vacuum and it gets sidetracked. It will stop and play with a rug on occasion or just hang out in an endless loop in a corner. Sometimes I come home and its just sitting in the middle of the floor, lost in thought I guess? It runs while I am gone and finishes properly enough times during the week that it does a good job, and it was a good price when I bought it. So I cant complain about the times I have to pick it up and put it back on its charger. The messages I get sent about it being stuck on a cliff and the the odd places I find it stuck are comical enough to make it worth it. Lol

Better off splurging for the higher end model with camera. Dont let the price hold you back; buy a returned one or use Affirm!

Ive had my iRobot for two weeks. I have a wood floor in my kitchen and carpet in my family room in an open concept. The iRobot does a fair good in picking up. After about the third time running it, I can see a pattern forming in the path it takes for each room. Dont move the furniture. It maneuvers around it. I havent read the manual or setup the controls through the app on my phone yet, but I like the fact that I can do other things while the Robot is cleaning the floors. It has a long run time too.
