Works great with boos board! I even used it on wooden spoons and various wood utensils I had around the kitchen.

There’s no better way to protect my Boos cutting board than with these products. This keeps the board looking fresh, clean, moist and new all the time. I love the applicator which makes it so easy to apply. I’d highly recommend this to anyone owning a high end cutting board.

I just got the new Boos board so I decided to invest in the care products as well. The oil works well. Dont like the cream. Sort of grainy? Anyway it doesn’t spread as well as the oil. Now that I am thru the seasoning period for my board, i only use the oil so I would not recommend this combo package

Really great products. They brought my butcher block and cutting board back to life after many, many years of never having been treated in an arid environment. Highly recommend. The only catch is that you have to leave the oil to sit overnight and then leave the wax to sit overnight for another night so, its kind of a commitment to do this once a month. Worth it, but good to know.

We put in butcher block counter tops recently. I decided to use Boos because it is nontoxic and made with bees wax. Water beads up, it was easily absorbed and easy to apply. The wood grain looks really nice. Because the countertop was new I applied the wax several extra times as my environment is very dry.

This product has me totally hooked. Its a Zen moment in the morning after coffee with no distractions, just working the oil or the cream into the board with my bare hands. I love it. <Preachy> In todays throwaway society, it seems strange to invest a few minutes each morning on a board that you could probably just replace annually for less money than your cost of labor to maintain it. And thats how weve gone so wrong. </Preachy> Oil the board regularly, and occasionally seal it with the cream. Both things are important, but the oil is more important and needs more frequent application. The oil seeps in to the wood and protects it. The cream seals the oil onto the board. Each time I put the board in the sink and wipe it off, the hot water eats away at the cream and then the oil. Im up to a tiny micro application once a week (a tiny bit of oil sealed in with a tiny bit of cream) followed by a major application once a month (douse it with oil, let dry two days, douse it with cream and let dry for two days.) Boards in storage also need attention about twice a year. Oil, wait a few days, then cream. Do both sides of the board, so four days total. Boos recommends just wiping off the excess the next day. I find that two days of letting the oil soak in tells me how dry the board was. After two days, if theres still excess I wipe it off before applying the cream. Then I let the cream set for two days as well. Usually theres not much excess to wipe off after two days.

Like many purchasers whove written saying theyve gotten counterfeit products, I received Boos Mystery Oil in a clear bottle with a paper label, not the traditional yellow Boos bottle. And there was a black line through words on the cream tube. I called Boos to see if this was their product. The helpful customer service rep assured me that the oil and cream were legitimate Boos products. She explained that during COVID Boos has had trouble getting their traditional bottles. I used the products, and they are great - as advertised.
