Bought this knife for the impending zombie apocalypse. I did extensive research on finding the best blade with which to sever the brain stem of an un-dead visitor. I decided to go with this particular piece for a few reasons: the tacky grip, so it wouldnt slip out of my hand in a bloody, close-quarter battle with a hoard of walkers, the serrations which will aid in the sawing off of zombie ears for my trophy necklace, and lastly, the hard black sheath, because it matches my boots perfectly. I couldnt be happier with this knife, I keep it with me at all times, should, God forbid, I come across a gaggle of gasping flesh eaters. Stay safe out there.

k bars are awsome,razor sharp and light.I took it camping and handled everything i threw at it.Nice sheath,although i prefer leather.You wont be dissapointed.My only complaint is i wish the handle had a lanyard hole.

I bought this Knife as a gift for a Man of Honor ... I dont have a lot of cash, but for a Man so Great as him, I wanted Quality ...! I have a knife collection numbering well over 100 Knifes; it includes 1 USMC Kabar Fighting Knife w/leather handle. (That I love). Ive never seen or touched this new handle type of Kabar, but took a chance on it ... And Man Im glad I did! That is one of the Sweetest Razoos Ive ever possessed! The Ka-Bar is a solid knife, that is so well constructed it will be passed down to several generations in my family. While it is so big you must carry it non-concealed, I would not want anything else to carry for a fighting knife. Its smaller brother, the small Ka-Bar, is of the same geat quality, and can be carried concealed if you want.

I am very tough on my tools and this knife is no exception ive used it extensively to baton wood, hammer nails with the butt of the handle, cut, chop and slash various things like rope, branches, fruit, meat and aside from the black coating coming off i cant seem to damage it. Ive used it as a throwingknife as well. this is a work horse and a steal at 70 bucks. kydex sheath is functional and works as advertised. you cant go wrong...
