these spikes are worth every penny because: 1- they are EASY to slip over your boots 2- they allow me to effortlessly and safely run, hike, jump on icy trails with 3 huge dogs leashed to my backpack 3- they dont EVER trip me up enough said. so if you want to hike on the late season icy trails without missing a beat, use these cleats. good for ice fishing too

A little costly but i have been using it for 2 years now and it still hasnt shown any significant sign of wear and tear. Just make sure u have the right size for your shoe and the spikes do the rest.

I bought them to go to Iceland in the Winter for my size 13 wide waterproof gore Tex hiking boots. I bought a cheaper pair initially, but after trying the other pair on they were too difficult to get onto my large boots. The Kahtoola were much easier to get on and off and worked great both on , and under glaciers, but also on frozen streets and asphalt paths around waterfalls!

I live in rural northern Vermont. I bought these to give me stability when I haul in wood in icy slick conditions and when snow blowing. They give me the solid surety of footing I need. They deliver! Im very pleased with these, not only for giving me that sure footing, but because theyre flexible and light weight.

These spikes grips good .size 9-11 made my size 10 shoe curl.They are to tight on my size 10

Finally bought a pair of these pointy little buggers after having stubbornly used crampons since the dawn of time. As long as Im not front-pointing these will be perfect. Probably give a helluva back massage with these bad boys.
