> 3 dayThese are the very best MICROspikes on the market - well worth the $$$, because they actually work. I have watched other folks slip and slide their way up and down trails during a typical New England winter, while I walk as though there was neither ice nor packed hard snow. Plus, when one of the chain connections broke (I put lots of miles on mine) Kahtoola replaced with a brand new complete pair of spikes in record time!! Love this product as well as this company!! Thank you, Kahtoola! Lisa in Connecticut

> 3 dayThe Kahtoola are very good. Do not slide off my shoes like other slimmer brands. Good teeth to hold each step. Made it thru last winter. Looking forward to this winter.

> 3 dayBought these for my wife as I already have a pair and they work great on long winter hikes in the White Mountains. Always keep a pair in my pocket during winter strolls. Did about 3 miles on icy cross country ski trails and never a problem.

> 3 dayEasy to put on if you have the right size. Flawless in 2 years of constant winter hiking use. I came back to get a second set for myself and my wife, just in case one day we have a failure and for some reason they are discontinued. The best things in the world always get discontinued, these are one of the best things. :)

> 3 dayDont skimp out on your footing foundation! My girlfriend and I hike year round, and on her experienced recommendation, I bought micro spikes. Her combined 8 years of US parkranger and hiking tour guide know-how kept me from buying a cheaper brand / version, and I am so glad that my footing is rock solid now. I will absolutely buy these again if I ever lose them.

> 3 dayI use these for hiking in Hawaii. That may sound strange but they come in handy a lot and pretty much any serious hiker you meet out here has a pair. They are great for going through mud, for crossing streams with algae-covered rocks, and for giving extra traction when going up/down very steep sections of trail. Ive used mine quite a bit and they have yet to break or show serious signs of wear. There are many trails here with sections so steep that a simple slip could send you tumbling hundreds of feet. I love the added security I feel when hiking with my microspikes and other hikers often stop me to admire them and ask where they can get a pair. For the price this is easily one of the best purchases Ive made in recent times.
