> 24 hourI love this potty so much! I am extremely grossed out by public bathrooms, and we travel quite a bit. My 2.5 year old son currently hops on the big toilet and holds onto the seat with his hands. I cant bring myself to let him do that in public. After searching for portable options, I came across this one. Its perfect (and cheap!). My son is about 35 pounds and about 37 inches tall. He wears 3T in pants. When opening the box, I thought this would be way too small. It turns out that its perfect! He can sit on it comfortably, and poop or pee. I just have to remind/help him to point it down when hes peeing. Its obviously much smaller than a regular toilet, and if hes not pointed down, it would make a mess (but thats pretty much how it goes for boys!). We only use it as a stand-alone potty w/ the legs, and I use the liners that are made for it (which work so wonderfully - no leaks at all). I love that its so small; its definitely portable. I am able to easily put it in my carry-on for the airplane, bring it to museums/restaurants/etc, use it in a tent while camping, set it up in the backseat of the car... the list goes on. I cant recommend this enough!

> 24 hourI dont think they had this when my older kids were toddlers, so when I saw it while shopping for my youngest, I was excited. I love the flexibility of being able to use it on public toilet seats or as a stand-alone for those emergencies in the car when theres not a public toilet close enough. Despite my worries, Ive never had to use it as a stand-alone, but its much sturdier than the folder seat that I used with my older kids. And it doesnt slide around either. The only drawback is the size. It pretty much takes up the majority of space in my diaper bag, so sometimes I dont want to bring it around just for that reason. But that is the trade-off for getting a great, sturdy product. Update: Because a lot of public toilets are oval-shaped, this potty seat will sit further away from the front. That means children have their legs extended out in front of them on the rest of the toilet seat. For boys, that makes it uncomfortable to bend forward, so they are more likely pee against the front of the potty seat or possibly even up if you are not paying attention. For my three-year old, he has to remove one leg out of his pants, so that he can spread his legs far enough apart (hanging over the sides of the toilet instead of in front of him) to aim down. Its pretty inconvenient, especially if he has to go bad (and you know how little warning toddlers give you), so he doesnt want to use this seat anymore. For this reason, I will drop my rating by one start, but it would be no problem for little girls.

> 24 hourFit well over toilets and no splashing out ! My girls sit comfortably on it. Fold up small enough to fit in diaper bag. Happy with the purchase!

> 24 hourThere are so many good things about this little potty seat. Weve been using it for several months. It is very sturdy and strong. It is sized to fit larger or fairly small bums (but not tiny 3-month-old baby bottoms) comfortably. Our little one is 30 lbs and its a good fit, but could clearly work well for smaller or much larger bottoms. It is pretty. It is versatile, legs fold out for use on toilet seats, down for use as a potty, or in for stowing away. When used as a freestanding potty, it sits close to the ground and allows little feet to be close to little bums in a more natural squatting position (this is why I chose this model). Do consider purchasing the Potette silicon liner; it can provide kids greater comfort/warmth than plain plastic and reduce fear of falling in when first sitting on the big toilet. When used directly on the floor the potty plus liner give a smooth, comfortable and truly easy-empty, easy-clean alternative to more traditional plastic potties. It folds up into a compact, take-anywhere size for the travel bag (formerly the diaper bag). Ive been through half a dozen potties now, and this is the one our child likes and uses. Others are uncomfortable for her, or a hassle for me... they break, arent ergonomically designed, dont clean easily, are too big, you need different designs for different circumstances, so they arent consistent and familiar for your child... Dont waste money on the others. I purchased a second potette for travel, just to simplify things. I anticipate using the potette all through potty training and beyond as my child grows. The one thing that isnt perfect is that it takes a bit of practice to use the right amount of force to keep the legs from coming completely off when adjusting them between toilet mode and freestanding potty mode. Not a big deal, so Im still giving five stars. I love this little potty. More importantly, our little one does, too. A bit of advice (in case you dont get enough of this already ;) ). If youre going to do early awareness training with kids too tiny to sit or stand, I recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/P-S-I-Imports-DPS5510-Anti-Spill-Waterhole/dp/B0002DGVW6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404007570&sr=8-1&keywords=water+hole+dog+bowl Dont push your kid too fast. And if they seem to fear the potty or are uncomfortable without the diaper, let the start by wearing the diaper on the potty. Transition from just sitting, to later unfastening the diaper as they sit on the potty, to later just sitting on the diaper on the potty... until they want to sit right down on the potty.

> 24 hourI bought this because I needed a portable potty for my son. He is fully potty trained but doesnt tell us he needs to go until he is about to pee himself. I was really tired to hovering him over the toilet (thank goodness he is small for his age or else id drop him right in) especially with a bad back and weak arms. I was really looking into the foldup ones for convenience but saw that it was not sturdy and did not fit public toilets. I am so glad i found this. it folds up nicely and is sturdy. I am so happy i read reviews because i found on another review that to use it in a sitting position/potty you have to push it up to lock in place. Anyways the day i got this in the mail my sister took my kids and me to the park and as soon as we got there my son was doing the pee pee dance. I pulled this out, popped the legs in place, popped the baggy in it, put it behind the tree, shimmied down his chones and plopped him on there. He was a bit confused cuz the bag and all but he did his thing and it was all gravy. We also used it on our toilet at home. He loves it. And i love it. =) I get compliments on this all the time. He tells me he needs to go, i bring this out, pop the sides out, put it over the toilet and put him on it. I have yet to find a toilet yet that it didnt fit. ;) .

> 24 hourThis product was amazing on our last road trip! We didn’t have to take our kids into any nasty gas station bathrooms or “scary” rest area vault toilets. We set up the potty right outside one of their car doors on the Pavement of rest stops or on side roads in the rural areas, and we used a pop up windshield shade as a privacy screen. Boy age 6 and girl age 4. We now keep it in the car for when we go hiking or biking, all the park restrooms are closed due to Covid. I’ve even carried it in my hiking daypack! The bags are worth the price too

> 24 hourThis is convenient, super easy to clean, small profile-easy to keep in car but because of that small profile, it’s SUPER low to the ground. My toddlers knees were literally up in her chest and she wasn’t able to get a comfy position to go potty, longer legs -like extendable would be better. It also seems very uncomfortable for their butts but it’ll just be used for on the go until she’s comfortable with a big, public potty.

> 24 hourHands-down one of the best products Ive purchased in the past 3 years of parenthood! This thing is SO versatile and has saved our behinds more than a few times. Purchased it before our summer travels (10 months ago) and it has gone with us on every outing since. My 3-year-old hates sitting on big potties (hes scared to fall in) so this has come in quite handy on-the-go. Hes a boy (obviously) so going to the bathroom is a bit easier for us if its just #1, but I have a friend with little girls who swears by this thing because it can serve as a sit-down potty ANYWHERE as long as you have a plastic bag on you. (Side note: dont bother with the fancy bags they sell for this thing separately. Just use a plastic bag and throw a few paper towels, napkins, or baby wipes in the bottom to absorb the pee.) Just fabulous... and I love that its so easy to clean/sanitize too!

> 24 hourThis thing is great. We use it in public restrooms, the park, the side of the road, everywhere. It folds up and fits in a backpack which means its always with me.
