> 3 dayThis has been absolutely amazing for my daughter. We purchased this when she turned two and have used it for a year now. I have came back on to write a review and purchased Additional liners as we are getting ready to go on a long road trip. The liners are amazing because they fit right over the little seat making it easy to pull over and let her potty even when in the middle of nowhere. The seat itself fits her perfectly. She is a normal size 3-year-old and it worked just fine for her at two. No seat pinching or wobbling on a larger toilet. The bag that it comes and makes it perfect for in the diaper bag or just to grab and go and have concealed. It is perfect for helping your little ones learn to go someplace other than home especially on those scary gas station toilets. I would buy again if needed but again after one year ours is held up just fine along with the bag and has had a ton of use. Thank you for such a wonderful seat for my daughter

> 3 dayWe are out and about a lot, so I got this to try and stay consistent with potty training with my toddler. He has a Munchkin floor potty he has been working with primarily which has a wider rim to sit on, so I think he’s not a fan of the narrower rim on this seat which doesn’t offer much support, especially when placed on a gaping wide adult public toilet seat. It does fit and it stays still, but I imagine it feels kind of like being the clown in one of those carnival dunk tank games. He liked sitting on it In the ground with the liner, so we’re going to keep working with it as he gets used to this potty thing. Worth trial and error for $16ish, and it fits easily in the diaper bag with plenty of room for everything else.

> 3 dayOh my goodness this thing is genius. My 3 year old just potty trained and I wasn’t sure how we were going to do public toilets until a friend told me about this. It comes with a travel bag and folds up small enough to fit inside my diaper backpack. I unfold the legs and he uses it when we are on a public toilet. I love that the legs provide a handle for him to hold so he’s not touching a nasty toilet. I haven’t used it as a stand alone potty yet but the concept of being able to put a bag in it and then dispose of it is genius. It comes with three bags with padding on the bottoms but I would think you could double up on shopping bags after those run out ? I am recommending this to all my mom friends.

Greater than one weekThis potty/potty seat seemed like a terrific idea for travel and walks, but the folding legs dont snap into place firmly. One of my daughters was particularly excited to use it ... until the legs folded when she was on it, and she fell on her face. Now shes afraid of it and would rather wet herself on a walk than use it, which really defeats the purpose. The problem is that the legs move between their three positions -- fully folded, down for use as a potty, and straight out to the sides for use as a potty seat -- very easily. Yes, they snap in place, but they also snap out of place with just a little pressure. With a design like this, there should be some locking mechanism, or it should at least take a lot more pressure to move the legs from position to position. FYI, the potty comes with a few bags to get you started and also includes a plastic draw-string back you can use to carry it around. July 2016: Coming back years later to revise this review. Yeah, its easy not to lock the legs in place properly and end up with a spilled kid, but once you get the hang of how to lock the legs, these potties are pretty darned handy. To tell you the truth, we still carry one of these around in the car for kiddie emergency pee breaks, three or four years on. Any cheap plastic item we still find useful after four years deserves more than two stars! A very handy item. Just practice locking the legs before you start using it.

> 3 dayI got this to have in the car because my daughter is potty training and it has done the job. It is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to open and fold. Love that I can also bring it to hotels to use over the toilets. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayLoved this! At first I was very skeptical because I thought there was no way my daughter could sit on it in the potty chair mode without having to hover or her touching the bag, but she was easily able to it on it like a regular potty chair with no hovering and no touching the bottom of the bag. It’s a great travel seat! We bought this to keep in our van specifically for the times she has to go and there’s no where to go. We’ve had it for one week and it has came in handy three times! At the park with no actual bathroom? Use the Potette! At a out door event and don’t want your child to use a nasty port-a-potty? Use the potette! It’s small enough to fit between our front seat and captains chair in our Toyota Sienna, so it is very discreet. Seriously wish we had purchased sooner!

> 3 dayThe product is high quality, stable, it is important to hear a click when you open the legs. We tried it at trip with a 3-year-old girl and it worked great. The girl was satisfied and so were we, because until now she had a hard time sitting down on nature walks. Now we will buy nylons with a pad.

Greater than one weekMy twins were out of diapers by 21 months old, and my youngest twin is on the petite side so having a portable seat was essential for our family. Twins are almost 3, and we were so pleasantly surprised with it we purchased 2. We recently went on a trip in the middle of potty training, so having 1 each in their own backpack was helpful because when they need to go, you have to act fast. And basically my husband and I would divide and conquer. About the product: we have used several types of bags (diaper bags, kids backpacks) and these are so portable, we have never had an issue of not being able to fit. These are very easy to clean. What I love best is the foldable wings. It’s versatile. Fits over any size toilet and if we are somewhere with no immediate bathroom access, just stand the wings down and use as a portable toilet. For the times where I needed to use it as a portable toilet on the floor, I did not utilize the bags or liners. My twin girls just peed, and these times were in parks or wooded areas. The product only came with a few liners and I want to save them for poop needs. But I have read, you can use any plastic bag to substitute. Since I have not used any bag, I can not comment on the how well the seat works with a bag. Now that my twins are almost 3 and can use a toilet without any riser at home and school, we still continue to this product in public settings because it’s more safe and sanitary. I don’t have to put them on the public toilet (with liners), and no need to worry about my smaller twin falling through the toilet.

Greater than one weekWe potty trained our son when he was 19 months old. At that age when he said he had to go it meant he had to go NOW! We have 2 potette potties, one in each car and they go with us everywhere. He is now 2y10m old and still uses them. Many times we use the potette because he is too afraid of the loud sounds in pubic bathrooms due to his auditory defensiveness, which is part of his sensory modulation disorder. Weve used it in the back of our car every morning when he was first potty trained to go potty before he goes into school, because due to his disorder it took him a while every morning to adjust in his classroom and he would have an accident due to not being comfortable enough to go potty in the bathroom with a teacher. We used it in the car on long trips, so that we just had to pull over anywhere and he could go. We take it with us when we are shopping, in the park, etc. Even on a regular toilet seat in public I use it so he does not have to seat on the big seat for sanitary purposes and it helps him feel secure he will not fall into the toilet. Many times he requests to go on the small potty (potette) instead of the normal potty in public restrooms. I keep the potette potty and its bags in a small backpack that fits the potty just right with an extra set of undies and cloths just in case. Our son wears the small backpack on his back sometimes when we are out and about. This is one of our best purchases and definitely the best purchase in the potty training category!
