> 3 dayI bought this seat primarily to use as a portable seat reducer for public toilets shortly after we switched our toddler to underwear. I havent yet used it (and dont plan to use it) as a portable potty seat, although it can be used in that way, too. It works pretty well on most public toilets, though it was an adjustment to not have one that clicks solidly into place like our seat reducer at home. It is sturdy enough, as long as the child doesnt squirm too much. It sits a lot further back on the toilet than our home seat reducer, but my small 2.5 year old doesnt have a problem with this. As is true with many seat reducers, you need to be careful that boys dont spray out the front. After use, it folds up to a nice small size, and comes with a plastic drawstring bag for storage. Overall, I have been very happy with this seat for its intended use.

> 3 dayThis is convenient, super easy to clean, small profile-easy to keep in car but because of that small profile, it’s SUPER low to the ground. My toddlers knees were literally up in her chest and she wasn’t able to get a comfy position to go potty, longer legs -like extendable would be better. It also seems very uncomfortable for their butts but it’ll just be used for on the go until she’s comfortable with a big, public potty.

Greater than one weekOriginally got this for my son for when we were traveling so we didnt have to find a gas station in a pinch and when you are stuck in a traffic jam and one of the adults youre traveling with needs a restroom... It works.

> 3 dayI love this potty so much! I am extremely grossed out by public bathrooms, and we travel quite a bit. My 2.5 year old son currently hops on the big toilet and holds onto the seat with his hands. I cant bring myself to let him do that in public. After searching for portable options, I came across this one. Its perfect (and cheap!). My son is about 35 pounds and about 37 inches tall. He wears 3T in pants. When opening the box, I thought this would be way too small. It turns out that its perfect! He can sit on it comfortably, and poop or pee. I just have to remind/help him to point it down when hes peeing. Its obviously much smaller than a regular toilet, and if hes not pointed down, it would make a mess (but thats pretty much how it goes for boys!). We only use it as a stand-alone potty w/ the legs, and I use the liners that are made for it (which work so wonderfully - no leaks at all). I love that its so small; its definitely portable. I am able to easily put it in my carry-on for the airplane, bring it to museums/restaurants/etc, use it in a tent while camping, set it up in the backseat of the car... the list goes on. I cant recommend this enough!

> 3 dayI absolutely love this thing and so is my 2.3 yo. We are potty training and I was wondering how the heck am I going to deal with long outside walks. TOday we went to the park and just got it out of the diaper bag, set it by a tree, got our business done, and went on with the plans. It is absolutely fantastic - stable and portable- and a life saver. I don’t need to worry about finding a public bathroom at all right now and that is mind blowing.

Greater than one weekNice for public restrooms or taking the kiddo to friends houses to put over their toilet. But not great for on the go, the legs collapse immediately. It says it supports up to 50lbs. My kiddo is 40…and the bags don’t soak up much urine…

> 3 dayI dont think they had this when my older kids were toddlers, so when I saw it while shopping for my youngest, I was excited. I love the flexibility of being able to use it on public toilet seats or as a stand-alone for those emergencies in the car when theres not a public toilet close enough. Despite my worries, Ive never had to use it as a stand-alone, but its much sturdier than the folder seat that I used with my older kids. And it doesnt slide around either. The only drawback is the size. It pretty much takes up the majority of space in my diaper bag, so sometimes I dont want to bring it around just for that reason. But that is the trade-off for getting a great, sturdy product. Update: Because a lot of public toilets are oval-shaped, this potty seat will sit further away from the front. That means children have their legs extended out in front of them on the rest of the toilet seat. For boys, that makes it uncomfortable to bend forward, so they are more likely pee against the front of the potty seat or possibly even up if you are not paying attention. For my three-year old, he has to remove one leg out of his pants, so that he can spread his legs far enough apart (hanging over the sides of the toilet instead of in front of him) to aim down. Its pretty inconvenient, especially if he has to go bad (and you know how little warning toddlers give you), so he doesnt want to use this seat anymore. For this reason, I will drop my rating by one start, but it would be no problem for little girls.

> 3 dayMy daughter has been just learning how to go in the potty and this was so great to take to the playground and to a restaurant. We use the bag that it comes in to take it and have our Clorox wipes to clean it so that is nice. And of course it goes into a backpack or large purse and with it being lightweight it makes it easy to transport!

> 3 dayUpdate: this is the best thing since slice bread once your kid is big enough to sit in it (about age 20months plus). Thanks to this I have avoided almost all public restrooms and it has cut bathroom time by 75% when we are out. Whenever we get anywhere; I just set it up, put a plastic grocery bag in it, put a cheap maxi pad down, have her lean forward and pee, and then I use a glove and a wipe and wipe her and then toss the wipe and the glove in the bag, Tie it off and toss in a nearby garbage can. It has revolutionized my life in that way, because it takes 30 seconds, no public restroom, and also, if we are at a big park without good restrooms, I just have her run to the car. I also have even taken it in the stroller like out to the beach or even other places. Out on the boat too. Its like one of the best things. Ive even used it in an emergency (Im petite ...) Earlier: This is a very WIDE hole. And I guess I purchased too quickly because I didnt realize it said 15months plus. I am starting potty training early and there is no way she will fit on this for awhile. Very hard plastic. I do plan on using it in the long off future for like camping or to avoid public restrooms at times. So for THAT purpose I think it will be good. For at home and for starting before 15months, not a practical purchase.

Greater than one weekWe’re in the car and she’s used this thing 3 times today within maybe 2 hours. I was inspired to immediately write a review if I hadn’t already. That’s just today. My daughter is 3.5 and she’s used this sooooo many times since we bought it over a year ago. It’s a life saver. I recommend it to everyone. I’ve used it before!!! I’m pregnant and you never know when you might not be able to find a restroom! Lol. Truly one of the best Amazon purchases I’ve ever made. We use plastic grocery bags and cheap diapers as replacement liners and they hold quite a bit. Just buy it. We’ve never had an accident in the car. Amazing product.
