Greater than one weekMy daughter has been just learning how to go in the potty and this was so great to take to the playground and to a restaurant. We use the bag that it comes in to take it and have our Clorox wipes to clean it so that is nice. And of course it goes into a backpack or large purse and with it being lightweight it makes it easy to transport!

> 3 dayThis seat can be used with the bags which on their own are wonderful or you can fold out the legs and use it as a seat on top of a regular toilet seat! It folds up small and only takes 5 seconds to pop out and set up. We don’t leave home without it. Easy clean up. Especially when you use the bags. It fits in the car perfectly when on the go and we need a fast potty break. Couldn’t love this product enough! It’s the 5th seat we bought and it actually works perfectly. We didn’t use it to potty train because I had no discovered it until after. Otherwise highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis is the BEST THING for potty training!! I wanted a little potty to keep my SUV since we were beginning potty training! This is the best thing ever wished I had something like this with my first two kids!! I bought a bumpkins wet bag and I keep the seat that folds up nicely and takes up little space. I also add the baggies. I also love that I am not having to take him into the public restrooms (with us being in a pandemic). It’s sturdy and I can fit it in my floorboard and add a bag. We have also used it flattened out on a big potty too!

Greater than one weekThis has been a life saver when out with my newly potty trained son. He’s 3 and even when I take him pee before we go to the park he somehow managed to need to go about 50% of the time. This has saved us from emergency trips home because our parks don’t have bathrooms open right now.

> 3 dayI love this potty so much! I am extremely grossed out by public bathrooms, and we travel quite a bit. My 2.5 year old son currently hops on the big toilet and holds onto the seat with his hands. I cant bring myself to let him do that in public. After searching for portable options, I came across this one. Its perfect (and cheap!). My son is about 35 pounds and about 37 inches tall. He wears 3T in pants. When opening the box, I thought this would be way too small. It turns out that its perfect! He can sit on it comfortably, and poop or pee. I just have to remind/help him to point it down when hes peeing. Its obviously much smaller than a regular toilet, and if hes not pointed down, it would make a mess (but thats pretty much how it goes for boys!). We only use it as a stand-alone potty w/ the legs, and I use the liners that are made for it (which work so wonderfully - no leaks at all). I love that its so small; its definitely portable. I am able to easily put it in my carry-on for the airplane, bring it to museums/restaurants/etc, use it in a tent while camping, set it up in the backseat of the car... the list goes on. I cant recommend this enough!

> 3 dayThis is the best $10 I have ever spent! One week after my son turned 2, he decided that he was going to use the toilet and no more diapers. While I applauded his desire and determination, I had a feeling the ability might take a bit of time to perfect. So, after seeing the special potties for using on the go in one of his potty books, I took to Amazon to find out what these on the go potties are. For $10, I decided to try the potette plus--and have now purchased 3 potette plus-es! These things are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They are little folding potties that can be set up as a small potty OR (bonus!) placed upon a full sized adult toilet seat to make it child sized. The legs easily snap into place to set the potette up as a potty and easily extend out to use as a childs seat on the adult toilet. It is the PERFECT size for the mommy, I have to potty, as soon as you make your turn onto a busy street--you can easily pull off into the closest parking lot or parking space, set up the potty on the car seat, floor, hatchback, folded down seat, what have you, so that junior can make his pee pee, after telling you for the 5000th time before you left the house 1 minute earlier that he did not have to go. Pros: Fits perfectly in the diaper bag where we used to keep the changing pad Easy to set up and use; for a portable potty, stick in one of the included liners (replacements are available for a reasonable price too--they look like plastic grocery bags with an absorbent pad at the bottom), and prop up the potty for junior to use (we keep it set up in the car--we fold down the front passenger seat and let junior sit on his throne on the folded seat. Its saved us many a time from an unforeseen car seat incident as grandpa would call it. Also perfect for bathroom-less parks, the beach, or anyplace else that your little one has to go while on the go. Once junior does his business in the disposable liner, you remove the bag, tie up the handles, toss it in the trash and go about your day. Easy to use on the adult potty. My little guy was public restroom (or any restroom that was not at home) a-phobic. He REFUSED to use toilets that were not his own, which made leaving the house while potty training extra fun. After we got the potette, every toilet seat looks alike! (because the potette is nicely propped on top and that is all the little one sees). The legs/handles keep junior from grabbing those germ infested toilet seats in public restrooms to hold on--he can just hang on to the legs/handles of the potette plus and keep his precious hands free from public toilet yucks. Cons: We didnt realize that the legs snapped up into the potette to stabilize it when used as a potty. We learned that after a couple of wobbly attempts. Make sure that you snap the legs in place when using as a free standing potty. Overall, it has made potty training a breeze. We never had to spend those long dreaded weekends at home because junior was learning to use the toilet. We just bring the potette plus with us and hes good to go on the go. We keep 1 in each car and 1 in the diaper bag. It seems like nothing brings on the urge to potty like getting strapped into the car seat and pulling out of the neighborhood.

> 3 dayWe like this potty for travel because it is compact and fits any toilet. We also have the Oxo travel potty, which is our top pick. We use the potters plus silicon liner, which fits both travel potties perfectly. The reason this is a runner up is because it is slightly lower to the ground and the locking mechanisms are a little more difficult to use. If you are going to use it as a travel potty, it is a little time consuming to try to pop the legs in and out and push into place. The oxo is a slight bit smoother. If you are using it mostly on the potty at home and don’t have to fold it often, then it is great.

Greater than one weekThis potty is one of the best baby gear purchases Ive made. It has saved us many times when there was no toilet around to speak of. My daughter is 2 & we take it along to parks, playgrounds, festivals, etc. It stays in the car w/ extra bags & I just run her back to the car & use it right outside if its fairly private or pop her on the front seat floorboard. It works great. Occasionally Ive put it in my bag & brought it with me when were out at larger parks, beaches or festivals when we cant run back to the car quickly. It folds up surprisingly small & doesnt take up much room in my bag at all (I no longer use a diaper bag so I carry a fairly compact bag). We also bring it with us traveling as a potty topper so that she can use the potty comfortably wherever we go. Ive not found it too small or too big. Its not a real potty, its a portable one, so I dont have expectations of it to be perfect...just convenient & sturdy. I really cant imagine not having this now that my daughter is potty trained. My one small complaint is that when I use it as a potty & need to close it up to put it away, the legs will pop all the way off b/c of how the notches are. Its kind of annoying. I have to try to get it back in the right notch & it has pinched my finger once or twice. Ive gotten the hang of it now though so Im more careful about it. Thats really about it though. Its a great product! Ive surely helped sell lots of these b/c Ive convinced loads of my friends to buy it too! One other thing, I took the advice of other reviewers & just tape some paper towel to the bottom of grocery bags instead of buying their bags. It has worked perfect.

Greater than one weekI think this is really a smart design and practical. I started off buying to potty train my two year old. She really liked it when it arrived on our door step so we started the process right after recieving it. I would turn on a potty time show for her around the time she was due to pee. Well it would take her awhile to go so her little tushy would hurt from it. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because with potty training and taking time to learn on it its a little rigid for the bum. I then ordered the silicon collapsible and reusable sinert for it and it took the edge off. If yiu are trying to buy this with potty training purposes to start with I suggest ordering the insert with it and starting with both pieces and using the disposable liners that come with it when you go out of the house.
