> 3 dayAbsolutely love this travel potty! We have used it countless times while traveling in the car. Short & long distances. The bags are super easy to attach and are very absorbent! Absolutely no mess! I think the size is best for kids under 5 but my 8 yr old has used it in an emergency and it was fine!

> 3 dayThere are so many good things about this little potty seat. Weve been using it for several months. It is very sturdy and strong. It is sized to fit larger or fairly small bums (but not tiny 3-month-old baby bottoms) comfortably. Our little one is 30 lbs and its a good fit, but could clearly work well for smaller or much larger bottoms. It is pretty. It is versatile, legs fold out for use on toilet seats, down for use as a potty, or in for stowing away. When used as a freestanding potty, it sits close to the ground and allows little feet to be close to little bums in a more natural squatting position (this is why I chose this model). Do consider purchasing the Potette silicon liner; it can provide kids greater comfort/warmth than plain plastic and reduce fear of falling in when first sitting on the big toilet. When used directly on the floor the potty plus liner give a smooth, comfortable and truly easy-empty, easy-clean alternative to more traditional plastic potties. It folds up into a compact, take-anywhere size for the travel bag (formerly the diaper bag). Ive been through half a dozen potties now, and this is the one our child likes and uses. Others are uncomfortable for her, or a hassle for me... they break, arent ergonomically designed, dont clean easily, are too big, you need different designs for different circumstances, so they arent consistent and familiar for your child... Dont waste money on the others. I purchased a second potette for travel, just to simplify things. I anticipate using the potette all through potty training and beyond as my child grows. The one thing that isnt perfect is that it takes a bit of practice to use the right amount of force to keep the legs from coming completely off when adjusting them between toilet mode and freestanding potty mode. Not a big deal, so Im still giving five stars. I love this little potty. More importantly, our little one does, too. A bit of advice (in case you dont get enough of this already ;) ). If youre going to do early awareness training with kids too tiny to sit or stand, I recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/P-S-I-Imports-DPS5510-Anti-Spill-Waterhole/dp/B0002DGVW6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404007570&sr=8-1&keywords=water+hole+dog+bowl Dont push your kid too fast. And if they seem to fear the potty or are uncomfortable without the diaper, let the start by wearing the diaper on the potty. Transition from just sitting, to later unfastening the diaper as they sit on the potty, to later just sitting on the diaper on the potty... until they want to sit right down on the potty.

> 3 dayWe are out and about a lot, so I got this to try and stay consistent with potty training with my toddler. He has a Munchkin floor potty he has been working with primarily which has a wider rim to sit on, so I think he’s not a fan of the narrower rim on this seat which doesn’t offer much support, especially when placed on a gaping wide adult public toilet seat. It does fit and it stays still, but I imagine it feels kind of like being the clown in one of those carnival dunk tank games. He liked sitting on it In the ground with the liner, so we’re going to keep working with it as he gets used to this potty thing. Worth trial and error for $16ish, and it fits easily in the diaper bag with plenty of room for everything else.

> 3 dayWhen you’re newly potty training your toddler you want to be ready to sit them down at the drop of a hat. I keep this in the trunk and it has saved us from sooooo many accidents when there isn’t a restroom nearby or if there is a sudden need to potty. Best part is the plastic bag inserts (sold separately) hold both pee and poop, so you just tied it up when you’re done and toss it! We’ll be traveling soon and I plan on taking this with us to use as an insert in the air bnb and also to keep in the rental car.

Greater than one weekI am giving it 3 stars because my toddler got excited when he saw it. We tried it right away. It has no splash guard so you have to be careful as no matter if you use it on the floor or on the toilet, pee flies out. As other buyers said, it is quite flimsy, so flimsy that it makes me a little nervous to have my 32 pounds toddler sit on it while on the big potty. Not sure if I got a bad one but it is extremely hard to lock it into position, either if you want to have it in a potty position or as an insert for the big potty. Overall I still have to see how it goes. We also tried it with a shopping bag, I thought that would have annoyed my toddler out but he was strangely fine with it. Will update in a few weeks if needed. Update: my son and myself both hate this potty. We used it on vacation mostly to sit on top of regular toilets, this potty is terrible for boys, even if he holds it down it sprays everywhere as it bounces off the border of the potty. Both sides are the same, no real splash guard. It is very flimsy and every time I put it on top of the toilet I am afraid it would give in, so I hold my son. Not happy with this potty at all. Switching it from floor potty to seat is extremely difficult especially since you need to lock it in when you use it on the floor. To lock it in I have to push it so hard that I get marks on my hands, to unlock it I have to pull so hard then the whole leg comes off each time ... Then to put it back is another struggle, if I push too hard goes into lick position, if you dont push enough doesnt even go in ... Maybe i got a bad one? I dont know, all I know is that I hate it and so does my son. Update of the update: we keep this in the car. Have to say it has saved us in odd situations when LO had to go. We just pulled up, set us his potty and let him go ... I am still worried when I put this potty on top of the regular toilet as it doesnt stick properly, its pretty wobbly and unstable. It has no handles for LO to hold himself and as previously mentioned, the splash guard is non existant. I still do not like this potty but with time it got easier to fold it and open it into position. Convenient for the car and on vacation, I guess.

> 3 dayI was skeptical about this one but, as soon as the UPS man delivered it my 2 ½ year old boy wanted to go on it. I let him go 1 time inside but, told him after that it was an outside only potty. We have used it at least 6 times in 2 days and Im mostly very pleased with it. Setup is very easy (just make sure you hear the click when locking the legs in place) but, the built in deflector is somewhat small. Until he learns to hold it down we are going to have to take off his pants and training pants so his legs sit wide enough that it points down automatically (you Mothers of boys know what Im talking about). Also unlocking/folding the legs was a little hard the first couple of times but, it seams to get easier every time. I looked at a couple different portable potty chairs before deciding on this one. The other 2 options were both bulky and 1 didnt have a deflector and the other sealed so you had to carry the waste home and clean it out. Overall, I am very pleased with this seat.

> 3 dayI really like how easy it is to use and it stays in place on the toilet. Great for traveling as well.

> 3 dayThis is small, but still works for our tall boy who has SPD. It saved us on our travels. It does sit low to the ground, but he was able to sit and do his business without messes. He didnt mind sitting on the bag, but didnt like the way he had to be careful when standing up (so he didnt pull the bag with him). Still, he handled the entire situation well. This is light, so it was not a problem carrying in my backpack it for hours as we went sightseeing. Disposal was easy. Just tossed in the wipes, tied it up and tossed it like used diaper. We used it while in the hotel room too, so we were able to dump contents in the toilet and toss the bag. He would not use it as a toilet topper, but if he didnt have his issues, I am sure it would have worked fine. Yes, I do sometimes pull out the feet when trying to collapse the legs. Not a big deal for me. I am thankful a friendly mom at school recommended this!
