> 3 dayReplacement for 1968 Tornado under carpet. Good adhesive and coverage. Can’t address sound blocking as car is yet to be on the road due to rebuild.

> 3 dayI used this material to line the cab of my RV. Cab noise was so loud before installing this, that trying to listen to the radio was pointless. Pulled up my carpeting, and installed these sheets on floors, inside the doors and inside the dog-house, and what a difference. The RV cab stays comfortably cool, no more hot foot on the passenger side. The road noise is markedly improved, and we can carry on a conversation without having to shout over the motor. Would highly recommend this product. Very easy to use and definitely worth it if you want to improve a hot, noisy area in your vehicle.

> 3 dayI used this in conjunction with egg crate foam material. This inexpensive box went a long way for my Crosstrek project. The car had ridiculous amounts of road noise, could barely hear voices on the stereo. I good roller helps for application. You can cut this stuff to fit anywhere you can reach. I used the egg shell for harder to reach areas. I only applied the mat to metal as it was the sturdiest part of the car. If you ever have to take this stuff off its going to be one hell of a mess. Sticky tar/rubber base but the foil keeps it covered. I also made some non stick pads for the floor mats that work well. While I didnt take measurements with a db meter I did only do my four doors first and kept hearing weird car noises....I didnt do the hatchback. When I did that and added the floor mats my car was as quiet as could be. No ear fatigue from road noise and my stereo sounds great(with some other tweaks). This is subjective but I find that every toyota Ive owned has a pretty quite interior. My Crosstrek is now on the level and maybe a bit better than that. I can listen to the radio at a low volume and still hear.

> 3 dayGreat stuff. Easy to apply and was able to cut easily. Be careful when applying with your hands. I forgot how sharp the foil can get and sliced my finger.

> 3 dayAdheres well if you actually do it correctly. I double layered every large hollow hole and it turned out nice and sound. The door no longer shakes at a idle.

Greater than one weekIt removed almost all of the resonances inside my TrailBlazer SS and quieted the ride overall. I did use two boxes to get everything, including the inside of the car roof and inside wheel wells and door banels. Lining the overhead made a huge difference, I definitely recommend doing this. My AC seems to work so much better now and the car just does not get as hot inside, at least not anywhere near as bad as it used to when left sitting in the sun all day.

Greater than one weekWear gloves. Very sharp edges will cut you.. not may, but will. Easy to work with, very malleable. Not so sure it improves the sound insulation that well, but adequate.
