> 3 dayIt removed almost all of the resonances inside my TrailBlazer SS and quieted the ride overall. I did use two boxes to get everything, including the inside of the car roof and inside wheel wells and door banels. Lining the overhead made a huge difference, I definitely recommend doing this. My AC seems to work so much better now and the car just does not get as hot inside, at least not anywhere near as bad as it used to when left sitting in the sun all day.

> 3 day2001 GMC Yukon XL is like a big noise tube. I had an aftermarket exhaust installed and at certain engine rpms the harmonics that went through the exhaust was amplified inside of the vehicle so much that it was almost painful to the ears. And if anyone was sitting in the third row seating, forget about talking to them. I was skeptical about how well this would work but, on a whim, I decided to try this, as I was pulling the seats and carpet to clean them anyway. There is a 5 piece rolling tool installation kit that is also available, but I dint purchase it and had no problem with installation. In fact, I found that by wearing a pair of mechanics gloves (fabric, NOT NITRLE OR LATEX) it made it easy to really push the matting into small crevasses and around curves. I did have a laminate roller that is about 4 wide, and I did use that on some larger areas, but found myself defaulting to using the gloves instead. No doubt the rolling tools would have helped but I dont think you need them to have a successful installation. On the instructions, it says that you should roll out the matting until all of the waffle pattern is gone; but I pushed and rolled and pushed and rolled and was almost never able to completely eliminate the waffle. At the end of the day though, I feel like I got it installed successfuly. The mat is easy to cut with scissors or a utility knife. The backing is very sticky and once its down, dont even think of trying to pull it up. (NOTE: the day I installed it, it was in the low 90s so Im sure that helped with the adhesion). After installing, I took the vehicle for a test drive and was shocked how much quieter the vehicle was. It is still a little noisy, but soooo much better. At least now I can talk to someone sitting in the third row, while driving. I only have two regrets. 1) I should have bought another box. The 50 sq/ft box I got only covered around 85% of the floor. 2) I should have bought the 80mil matting instead of the 50mil as Im sure that would have made an even bigger difference.

> 3 dayThis stuff is legit. Just as good as the big box names and a fraction of the cost. Goes on easy. Smoothes put nicely and quick. Very easy to work with does what it says it does. One box goes a long way while doing a jeep wrangler. Only used about a quarter of the box so far and have gotten the rear cargo area floor done and the passenger front floor pan. Highly recommended. Just be sure to get the three size install rollers and it will make your life easier.

> 3 dayI used this on the floor of my car. Put a double layer down. Definitely muffled road noise but did not eliminate. I plan on buying a second box to do the doors and even the trunk. Im certain that will help even more but I dont think it will cancel all road noise.

Greater than one weekMy 2016 GMC Yukon XL has over 153K miles and was starting to exhibit a lot of unwanted creaks, rattles, and other unwanted noises. I applied about 10 sheets to the floor pan in the rear cargo area and under the second and third row seats and WOW, what a difference!! It tamed almost all of the rattles and quieted the ride overall. Im going to order another box or two and get to work on my Transit van (350HD,) 2014 Prius, and 2019 Tesla Model 3 next! Absolutely 1000% recommended!!

> 3 dayFor those looking for a good low-cost alternative to Dynamat, this is acceptable. I used both Dynamat and Kilmat on the same build. The Dynamat product was the Dynamat Xtreme. In contrast, the aluminum on the Kilmat is thinner and the butyl material smells A LOT like roofing felt... like EXACTLY like roofing felt -- definitely a bituminous odor. It is not overwhelming. I could only smell it with from about 2 away at normal temperatures By comparison the Dynamat Xtreme has ZERO odor. Nothing. The good thing about the Kilmat is that it sticks very quickly (used a heat gun to promote adhesion due to cooler outdoor temps but really did not need to) and the embossed aluminum makes it simple cut straight with one mark. Also, the packaging says it is made in the Russian Federation... so, those folks have a lot of experience silencing things so this will likely work very well. I just hope its not made out of Chernobyl chunks else my build will put a new meaning on the term radioactive.

> 3 dayI really like this product, it was super easy to lay out and trim to fit pieces where full sheets wouldnt fit. I could of taken more time and fit it a Bit better but in less than 30 minutes I did the entire floor of a 06 crew cab gmc 2500hd. I have not driven yet for noise test but just tapping on the floor you can instantly tell it will be helpful. My factory mass backing had water damage so I liked this for noise reduction and getting rid of the padding.
