> 3 dayThe stuff is a must if you have a van. My van is now a quiet as any car I have driven. I tried several brands and Kilmat was by far the easiest to install.

> 3 dayHave used these on multiple vehicles and am very happy with the quality and price point. They stick very well! I recommend getting a set of rollers to really put some pressure when installing. I lined my trunk/hatch area in my 07 Honda Fit and noticed it was quieter (even with the wind noise Fits are know for:) I follow it up with some sound deadening mat. Very happy with this product! Would and have bought again!

> 3 dayThis stuff is legit. Just as good as the big box names and a fraction of the cost. Goes on easy. Smoothes put nicely and quick. Very easy to work with does what it says it does. One box goes a long way while doing a jeep wrangler. Only used about a quarter of the box so far and have gotten the rear cargo area floor done and the passenger front floor pan. Highly recommended. Just be sure to get the three size install rollers and it will make your life easier.

> 3 dayI used this material to line the cab of my RV. Cab noise was so loud before installing this, that trying to listen to the radio was pointless. Pulled up my carpeting, and installed these sheets on floors, inside the doors and inside the dog-house, and what a difference. The RV cab stays comfortably cool, no more hot foot on the passenger side. The road noise is markedly improved, and we can carry on a conversation without having to shout over the motor. Would highly recommend this product. Very easy to use and definitely worth it if you want to improve a hot, noisy area in your vehicle.

> 3 dayI guess I expected more. I even doubled up in some areas. I didnt do any pre-installation versus post-installation testing, but in my fairly noisy car, which is a convertible, I didnt really notice a difference with the top up on the freeway. It seems like there was a slight reduction in the temperature transferred from under the car (near the engine bay) to the floor inside, but convection of heat is ultimately not really blocked. Direct radiation is definitely lessened. My main goal was to reduce sound, and I would say that using 50 mil was a waste. I should have started with 80 mil and then doubled that. You do need to be careful in certain areas where this stuff will become too thick to fit parts back in place (like certain interior trim parts). I used the whole box of Kilmat on my little two-seater for the interior, a little in the doors (where I could reach) and in the trunk. I doubled up on most of the trunk and on the driver and passenger floorboards (up to the firewall where I could not really stick more of this stuff). Compared to what I read about other products, this doesnt have any smells that I noticed. I pressed it all in with a little roller that I bought online.

> 3 dayI almost went the poor mans way and bought Frost King Foam Duct Insulation, but then I saw this Kilmat sound deadening was about the same price as the Duct Insulation. Using prime, I ordered and received the package the same day. I found it was easier to work with this material with my bare hands as using gloves the adhesive stuck to the gloves making it difficult to install - once I took the gloves off it was much easier to work with the material. I also found it to be easier to use a good pair of scissors instead of a straight edge razor - the material is thin enough to use scissors. It was a cold day outside and when the temp dropped below about 42 degrees the kilmat material became much harder, so recommend installing on a day between 50-70 degrees outside. Also, the foil liner wasnt too sharp, I didnt have to worry too much about cutting myself using my bare hands. As far as it doing its job as a sound deadening material? I installed these in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I can definitely tell a difference on the road noise, especially on the highway. Its probably a good 25% quieter, if not more. My doors feel heaver, have a nice THUNK when I shut them, and sound solid when I tap the doors with my knuckles. I replaced my speakers in my doors at the same time and I am very happy with the results - no rattles and great sound. I did two layers - one on the outside panel and one on the inside panel - maybe overkill, but I received 50 square feet, which was enough to do all four of my doors doing double layers. This is A+ material.

> 3 dayHonestly works better than expected, adheres good once you use the correct roller. For better sound deadening you will want to double it up but 1 box gives you quite a bit. Thanks!

Greater than one weekI have never used sound deadening mats, but I customize my cars A LOT. The price of this product is way lower than the leading brands but the quality is fantastic. I thought I would be getting a lower quality alternative- side by side it looks and feels like the big name brands. You will notice how heavy the stuff is from the box, which wasnt light nor fluffy. I especially liked the grid system for easy and precise cutting on the foil side. Once I measured and cut, install was a breeze. In fact, I had to re position a few pieces, the glue had no problem adhering even with a couple of times off and on. I did the door panels on my Tesla, which was already pretty quiet. It seems quieter but unfortunately that is seat of the pants, not scientific. I didnt take before and after readings. I did put some behind the speaker in my Ram truck and sound DEFINITELY comes out louder than before, with less loss behind the speaker. 50 square feet is more than enough to do a vehicle completely. The instructions recommend using gloves- I didnt and found no ill effects or reduced adhesion.

Greater than one weekI installed this KilMat in my 2015 Dodge Challenger, with ease. The whole trunk, wheel wells and Drivers side door. The hardest part was taking everything apart. Didnt use the roller, that much, could easily press everything down with your hands. The 50 sqft was more than enough to complete this job. The noise cancellation level was very noticeable, took out the rattle in the drivers door, now have to put a few strips on the rear deck, to quiet that down. Would recommend this to everyone, nice weekend project.

Greater than one weekThe product quantity was more that enough to cover 4 doors on a 2008 Tacoma and still had enough to cover probably another 4, had plenty left over. Did install on a 85° day and they adhere really well. Tried using gloves but its hard, easier if you dont use them. It did leave a light smell of tar for a day or two only. The doors do feel as if they close tighter but didt really notice a great difference in outside backgound noise. Speaker sound does sound better. Definetly not to be used as insulation, they feel hot to the touch as metal does but still do recommend.
