> 3 dayIt removed almost all of the resonances inside my TrailBlazer SS and quieted the ride overall. I did use two boxes to get everything, including the inside of the car roof and inside wheel wells and door banels. Lining the overhead made a huge difference, I definitely recommend doing this. My AC seems to work so much better now and the car just does not get as hot inside, at least not anywhere near as bad as it used to when left sitting in the sun all day.

> 3 dayBest bang for your buck... I was skeptical at first due to the thickness. Despite the thickness, Im very impressed with the Kilmat. So far, Ive only completed the for board and the difference it has made is undeniable. Its easy to install... Remember, Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. The adhesive is quite sticky, BUT if you handle gently and carefully it will not stick to everything when trying to apply it. When applying, if you mold it as you go. It goes on Like Butta. As for the quantity... For my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, 50sqft was more than enough for the front and rear floorboards so now Im going to do the sides and perhaps the roof.

> 3 dayI ordered 4 boxes for a total of 200 sq ft. I still have half a box left after covering the inside of my entire van with 2 layers. Its heavy but really high quality especially for the price.

> 3 day1993 gmc yukon 2 door interior refresh project. 2 boxes of this product will get you the roof, side panels and 90% of the passenger cabin. Kilmat estimates 130 sqft for this project so they are pretty close. Ill buy another box to finish, then cover it with Noico 315mm closed cell foam sheets. This will be so much quieter and warmer in the Montana winters! Pointers: scrub the surfaces then go over with an alcohol rag then a tack cloth. Make sure its really clean. After laying down a sheet use a roller to really smash this stuff into the seams. No really, go over it again until all the little squares have been smoothed out. If you want, mommas rolling pin will work for the big areas. Next I suggest laying closed cell foam over the top. This will increase the sound deadening and help keep your car comfortable.

> 3 dayWas super easy to install, once you get one done you get a rhythm going and you’re off to the races. Installed on my Jeep Wrangler to go under my Goose Gear platform so that it further insulated and allows for better noise quality

> 3 dayI have never used sound deadening mats, but I customize my cars A LOT. The price of this product is way lower than the leading brands but the quality is fantastic. I thought I would be getting a lower quality alternative- side by side it looks and feels like the big name brands. You will notice how heavy the stuff is from the box, which wasnt light nor fluffy. I especially liked the grid system for easy and precise cutting on the foil side. Once I measured and cut, install was a breeze. In fact, I had to re position a few pieces, the glue had no problem adhering even with a couple of times off and on. I did the door panels on my Tesla, which was already pretty quiet. It seems quieter but unfortunately that is seat of the pants, not scientific. I didnt take before and after readings. I did put some behind the speaker in my Ram truck and sound DEFINITELY comes out louder than before, with less loss behind the speaker. 50 square feet is more than enough to do a vehicle completely. The instructions recommend using gloves- I didnt and found no ill effects or reduced adhesion.

> 3 dayBest bang for your buck. At a fraction of the cost of name-brand sound mat, this is absolutely unbeatable. I appplied liberal coverage (~80%) in my daily driven Nissan Juke, and the difference is definitely noticeable. Drastic improvement in sound quality inside, and a pretty significant reduction in noise heard outside. I also applied some matting to the floorboards, door, and roof skins on my G35 which really only sees track days. I’ve had it in my G35 for several years now, and have seen no signs of decreasing adhesion. Bottom line: don’t spend more for a product that isn’t really all that much better, when you can have a comparable alternative at a fraction of the cost.

Greater than one weekEasy to apply. Works as well as higher priced butyl sound deadener. Make sure to use a roller for best results.
