> 24 hourI had a blast (no pun intended) putting this together over the course of an afternoon. You assemble it one stage at a time (and yes, the stages do separate), and it was really cool to see everything come together as a I completed each one. Once its complete, it is extremely sturdy, whether the rocket is fully assembled or the stages are separated, as the solution to clip them together supports the weight very easily. If you want to play with it after youre done, you dont have to worry about it breaking apart easily. The only thing Id wish theyd done differently is include the pieces for a second Service Module, since it would have been really cool to have the option to display the entire Apollo spacecraft alongside the rocket - there are only separate display sets for the LEM on the moon, and for the CM after splashdown. As a bonus, I got mine through Amazon Warehouse Deals. The box had a giant gash in the side, but the contents inside were completely undamaged, and that saved me $35 off the retail price.

> 24 hourIf you clicked on this, you have at least a passing interest in both Apollo and Lego. Frankly, that right there is enough. It is a very satisfying build, and good value at $120. This supposedly scales out at 1/110th scale. That looks about right, although I have not measured it. While I have contemplated building a scale model of the Saturn V, this kit really surprised me with its good looks. It would take me weeks to build this up in 1/100 or 1/144th and probably cost more than $120 to source the kit and materials. This truly lives up to the hype!

> 24 hourThe rocket creation was amazing, it had a lot of detail and was carefully engineered to perfection. I had one slight problem, the box came with one lego part missing, the part name is 6022470 (a arch type piece). I was really sad because this piece completed the body of the rocket perfectly. I built my rocket on a clear space in my living room but at first I thought I lost the piece by accident but after looking everywhere for it, I could not find it.

> 24 hourMy daughter is hoping to be an aerospace engineer one day and loves everything Legos and space. So I bought her this set and she loved it. It’s actually a beautiful piece that we displayed in our game room. Totally recommend especially if you have a space lover in your household.

> 24 hourThis is a great Lego. My son loves it and it can stand up or lay on its side. It is realistic and fun to build! Check it out on this Amazon link: <iframe sandbox=allow-popups allow-scripts allow-modals allow-forms allow-same-origin style=width:120px;height:240px; marginwidth=0 marginheight=0 scrolling=no frameborder=0 src=//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ss&ref=as_ss_li_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=mywebsit0c3e3-20&language=en_US&marketplace=amazon®ion=US&placement=B071G3QMS2&asins=B071G3QMS2&linkId=81a78dabdb52fa18346da821fc476dba&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true></iframe>

> 24 hourAlways wanted to get this, but the price was too high. When it came down to under $120.00 I scooped one up. What a great time I had. Im 62 and this is the first Lego product I have ever had. It was easy, even for my fat fingers. One thing that drove me nuts. I wasnt aware that there could be extra parts in the bag. I would get to the end of a section and there would be a couple of small parts left over. Learned to live with it. Would recommend this to everyone. Get it while you can.

> 24 hourIts a fun build and it ends up being a huge rocket, the only thing I didnt like was how tedious it sometimes got building 4 of every section

> 24 hourThis is my favorite Lego I have built over the years. People throw that term around a lot, but this one is genuine. There were only a few areas where snapping in sections can cause the previously flimsy attachments to break off, but with a little extra care, you should have no problem. Once those pieces are in, the sections are locked in for a solid build. What makes this build so great is it is not just a display piece. You can separate out the multiple stages after complete and display or play with them separately. The look is great, the feel is great. Its a visual masterpiece and at 40 inches long, if you want to disapply this, you are going to need a lot of shelf space. I build it methodically over three days, but I could have completed it in one day if necessary. The graphics are build into the pieces, so no fumbling with stickers, which I always hated. This is an awesome set that any fan should have and the price makes it really seem like a bargain compared to other sets of this many pieces and definitely size.

> 24 hourI saw this on Amazon warehouse deals and immediately purchased it, $89.00. The package had water damage, but the contents were all there and in perfect condition. This was absolutely incredible build. I knew it was gonna be good with all the reviews out there, but the real pleasure is putting this together. Very solid construction. I was expecting a fragil wobbly look not touch kind of thing. Not at all, you are encouraged to break apart each module to learn how the real Saturn V works. Really fun to play with and the micro figures really scales how huge the Saturn V was/is. The most impressive thing in the whole build for me is there are no specialized pieces to make this structure cynrical. Its all common lego pieces. Lots of good ideas for constructing castle towers, rounded walls or a water tower. May have to buy a 2nd one for parts.
