> 3 dayThis was the first of the set of the new realistic Nasa Adult Lego sets I recently purchased. Really brought back memories of early childhood Lego building and has a huge nostalgia factor as a result. Quite complex to build and definitely not something a kid should be looking into, really something someone ~16+ could reasonably get into. The set is quite tall and comes with its own horizontal display. Being somewhat of a crafty space nerd Ive displayed it vertically on my own as depicted. For the curious here is how to do this to make it look like its launching: Materials needed: 1x medium-to large flat bottom open top fishbowl, 1x lifx mini smartbulb, 1x baseless lamp (to house/power the bulb), and one package of plain white stuffed animal stuffing from a craft store (ideally its neatly packaged in a roll). Step-by-step: set-up the light, place light on floor (ensure the bulb does not rest on the ground), invert the bowl and place the light directly in the center, cover the bowl around all sides with the stuffing by unrolling the stuffing - over the sides of the bowl, pull/form the stuffing into cloud-like shapes while draping in a cone shape over the bowl so that some areas appear to have more density than others (this affects how the light shines through and creates a hot smoke effect, this is the most annoying part and dont be afraid to pull-off excess stuffing as needed), use a level to ensure the surface on top is flat and wont tip, place the Saturn V on the flattened top of the inverted fishbowl, set the light to yellows or oranges or even combine with lifxs flicker setting to make it appear like its launching!

> 3 dayI really enjoyed putting this together. Still fascinates me that this rocket is the end result of putting together pieces that are mostly rectangular. Directions were clear and easy to follow and pieces well-organized to correspond with where you are in the process. Just be prepared for the length of it, but definitely worth making room as its a nice piece to add to a room of your choice :)

> 3 dayI will admit that I was hesitant to buy at first. Simply because I am a grown adult and buying a Lego set felt a bit odd. It took me a few weeks but I finally took the leap. I am glad I did. This was the most spectacular thing I have done in a while. What you get vs. what you pay is a bargain. Any kid, young or old, can feel like they are right there at NASA helping take part in one of human kinds greatest achievements that has not been matched ever since. I was fortunate enough to finally visit Cape Canaveral a year ago and see in person the Saturn V rocket on display and all the historical artifacts surrounding it within the building. Blending the history I have read on the program, the in-person viewing of such machinery, and then assembling this set was a great trip though history. Assembly is not difficult given the easy-to-follow instructions and the handy packaging that was used. Be sure to have some type of container around to keep the smaller packages of miniature pieces in so they do not roll away! I also organized all the pieces by type, size, and color into neat little piles after opening each package and beginning assemble. Its my nature. It is not necessary to go to such lenghts, but does make building the rocket easier.

> 3 dayAwsome lego set, my kids loved it, tons and tons of fun. $100 is cheap for such a big lego set. Box isnt damiged at all, only the instructrons can be a little bit confusinng for young age.

> 3 daySuper realistic model of the Saturn V rocket. You can recreate moon missions or make your own. Super realistic and to scale. Stages are easy to recreate and easy to put the rocket back together. It comes with display stands that can also be used to store the rocket. It was fun recreating the moon missions and creating my own.

> 3 dayAs an inexperienced lego builder, it took about 4h to build. It was a lot of fun and the finished product looks great for display.

> 3 dayThis set is INCREDIBLE! Totally recommend to anyone who is even vaguely interested. Im 52 years old and it totally brought out the 10 year old in me. Total build time was about 8 hours, 6 beers, 2 gin & tonics, and I took my time with it over a few days. The first stage is the most time consuming. It was just fascinating how it all came together in the end. Now I want to take it apart and do it all over again. Next purchases will be the Vonado umbilical tower, and lighting kit.

> 3 dayIm not going to lie, I loved the absolute nerd factor of this one... Absolutely a fun one to build if you have a fascination with space like I do. The only thing that I can say thats negative about this whole fun product is that one part of the build, was that step 155 (page 109), WILL cause you to go mad if you dont use superglue for that entire spot that you have to make 4 times... This is the only time Ive ever recommended using glue on Legos, but if you dont, as soon as you try and snap on the pieces that go onto those pieces, you will be tearing that section back off to reconnect the parts that have seperated... I ended up using superglue and stopped trying to tear my hair out after that...
