> 24 hourI will admit that I was hesitant to buy at first. Simply because I am a grown adult and buying a Lego set felt a bit odd. It took me a few weeks but I finally took the leap. I am glad I did. This was the most spectacular thing I have done in a while. What you get vs. what you pay is a bargain. Any kid, young or old, can feel like they are right there at NASA helping take part in one of human kinds greatest achievements that has not been matched ever since. I was fortunate enough to finally visit Cape Canaveral a year ago and see in person the Saturn V rocket on display and all the historical artifacts surrounding it within the building. Blending the history I have read on the program, the in-person viewing of such machinery, and then assembling this set was a great trip though history. Assembly is not difficult given the easy-to-follow instructions and the handy packaging that was used. Be sure to have some type of container around to keep the smaller packages of miniature pieces in so they do not roll away! I also organized all the pieces by type, size, and color into neat little piles after opening each package and beginning assemble. Its my nature. It is not necessary to go to such lenghts, but does make building the rocket easier.

> 24 hourI have never had more fun putting together a Lego kit than I have with this one. Once I started, I just could not walk away until it was finished. I probably could have completed it in about two-hours, but I really wanted to take my time with it, so I moved slowly and methodically. I spent approximately four and a half hours on the set. It looks great sitting next to my Revell kit from the late 60s. I was surprised by the sheer size and weight of it. Once completed, it actually looks quite larger than 1 meter, and it weighs over five pounds. I actually want to purchase a second one as a gift for someone and convince them to allow me to assemble it for them so I can relive the experience. Completely recommended.

> 24 hourMade an awesome Christmas gift for my 6 year old even though it says 14+. I grew up with legos and it’s so cool to see how realistic this is. The details are excellent. This was a fun build for my son and I and took us about 6 hours. Everything is a repetitive build of x2 or x4 of the same thing. So I would build one and he would factory assemble the next 3. Then I threw on Apollo13 for us to watch and well... he hasn’t stopped playing with this thing for the past week. Some missions to the moon or Mars experience explosions like in the movie... others are successful. What is an imaginary play story without a bit of drama for the characters to overcome? The best part for me as a parent is all of the nerding we have been able to do because of this lego model engaging his imagination. His birth day is coming up... might have to pick up the ISS model. It sort of breaks my heart to some degree knowing we will probably dismantle this beautiful model at some point, but we will end up making our own creations together. All part of the fun!

> 24 hourI got this as a project for me and my 13 year old daughter. We really loved it! We had to pace ourselves and limited our build time to 2 bags a day. We didnt build every night and took 2 weeks to complete it. What a lot of fun! Were now looking for another large set to build together. The building was pretty easy with only a few sections that were a bit tricky (the vent sections on the 2nd stage mostly). The size of the finished kit is very impressive! It now sits proudly lying along the edge of my desk on the display stands. The build book is really well thought out, clear and easy to follow. Having only built lego creations from random pieces as a kid, this Saturn V rocket kit is an amazing jump ahead in size and finished model quality. Im very impressed with it and looking forward to more large kits! Im watching for the new Millennium Falcon set to be available now... not because Im a Star Wars fan, but because it will be a long build I can do with my daughter.

> 24 hourThis set is amazing. Ive had Legos off and on since I was a kid, and this set is one of my favorites. Even as an adult, it still blows me away. Its the tallest set ever produced (for the general market), and has plenty of pieces to occupy your time for several hours assembling it (I was excitedly rushing through it and it still took a while). Theres a booklet that tells you about the Saturn program, and the stages come apart just like they did in the real rocket. Theres even inner-tanks to replicate the ones used for the propellant and oxygen. The rocket shell is comprised of four vertical quadrants, and Ive removed one of them on each rocket stage to show the inside, because its just as impressive as the outside.

> 24 hourIve assembled a few Lego sets before getting this one and even though Im still new to Lego sets, I really enjoyed this one, it may seem intimidating at first, but its assembled in smaller stages that combine very easily and securely.

> 24 hourI absolutely love this set. It was a lot of fun to assemble and took a decent amount of time. There were not many repetitive steps which was nice as it kept things exciting. The model is very large and looks wonderful when you display it. You are able to take apart the various pieces of the rocket as well as place the lunar module inside if you so choose. You wont be disappointed purchasing this set especially if youre a space fan!

> 24 hourI gave this to my dad on Christmas and he was so happy! We stayed up until midnight building this. I really liked the little Easter egg of the piece number and launch date!!!
