Just bought the 26” luggage and the unit out of the box arrived defective with the zipper misaligned. If this is how it arrived being inside a shipping box, I question the durability of this luggage taking a beating from airline baggage handlers.

UPDATE: I have changed my review from 4 stars to 1 now that I have returned from Holiday. I was extremely excited about my new luggage set. I loved the smoothness of the rolling wheels and the texture of the suitcase surface. However, when I reached London Heathrow and my larger case came off the conveyor it had a large dent in the side. My trip had barely begun and this was only the first of 2 countries I was visiting! Here’s the thing…everyone is aware the airlines are rough and tough with suitcases and I hope that as a consumer when I purchase a luggage set that the QAQC inspections are just as rigorous to ensure these cases are durable as they say! This was not the case….no pun intended. I did file a report with the airlines. As I left the airport to begin my vacation I was frustrated that my new suitcase wasn’t looking so new anymore. Both my check-in and carry-on have scuffs and scratches that others have mentioned in their reviews as well. The final kicker is that when I got to my room and began unpacking one of the zipper pulls was completely broken! This just further proved that this luggage set was cheaply made and not as durable as they advertise. Extremely displeased and hopefully LEVEL8 will help to fix this matter. Leaving for London in a few weeks and purchased this luggage set. Arrived quite quickly. I love the texture and the size, style and overall maneuverability but the bummer is I ordered the grey and received a grey and a green. Hopefully they can fix it before my trip.

One zipper fell off then the other busted open

So far I’m enjoying the suitcase. It’s a tad smaller than the typical soft side carry-on bag so you have to be pretty good at packing. It does not expand nor does it have extra pockets on the outside. I’m a big guy-with larger shirts, shorts, etc…and I can pretty easily get 6 days worth of cloths (6 t shirts, 2–3 shorts, socks/undies) plus a toiletry bag into it. I didn’t give it any stars yet for durability cause I’ve not had it long enough to judge. I’ve not checked it under a plane yet and that’s the true test. I paid MUCH MORE for this particular suitcase compared to past suitcase purchases to get the durability. I hope the price reflects that and I get several years of use out of this bag.

My son-in-law travels for work and tested the bag right after receiving it as a Christmas gift by filling it with towels and checking all the features and maneuverability. He was delighted with the bag at the time. Unfortunately, when he actually took it on a trip, though he was amazed with how much it held, when the bag is packed, the handle keeps jamming. Will not extend and retract smoothly. I dont recall that being mentioned as an issue in any of the reviews I read before I purchased this bag. I wonder if this particular bag is just a dud/lemon and will have to return it. I will review the manufacturer afterwards.

Travelling in 2 weeks time, will report again on how it survives multiple airports and several long haul flights

Just received this case and it feels very solid and looks sleek. So far, very happy with this case.

Habe den Koffer als Ergänzung zu meinem Rimowa Carry On gekauft, weil die bei den Preisen absolut hohl drehen. Der Koffer hat eine gute Größe, eine logische Aufteilung. Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln nach der ersten interkontinentalen Reise. Würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Yes, I do recommend this carry-on, it is lightweight, compact an attractive. It is also durable, although, only 6 months of use, yet, so-far-so-good.

Rolls very easily and smoothly. Nice all around. Straps and dividers to hold things steady, very durable yet lightweight.
