Just back from a twelve day trip to Europe and Im glad I went with carry-on only with a cross-body sling bag fitting nicely over the handles. With railway strikes and flight cancellations, this gave me the peace of mind. I saw so many struggling with both to be checked-in and carry-on luggage in the horrendous pre-Security/pre-boarding card line that was over two hour-long in Amsterdam (that snakes into the next terminal – no kidding). With this lovely case, none of the struggle to put it up in the rather high Airbus bins (even for a 511 but a senior citizen originally from South Asia). Tall Dutch air-crew would not even help women (and who can blame them given the way people overload their carry-on). Fitted nicely in the medium lockers of the Swiss rail (the smalls go first, so didnt get to check). Fits nicely on one of the steps on an escalator while you stand on the step below. Looks like a million dollar too.

It’s a great addition to the many pelican cases that I travel with. The rollers are smooth, handle is comfortable for a 6 foot guy, and very pleased with the aesthetic. The inside compartments are by far the most well stitched I’ve seen in a suitcase. A real treat to travel with.

So far I’m enjoying the suitcase. It’s a tad smaller than the typical soft side carry-on bag so you have to be pretty good at packing. It does not expand nor does it have extra pockets on the outside. I’m a big guy-with larger shirts, shorts, etc…and I can pretty easily get 6 days worth of cloths (6 t shirts, 2–3 shorts, socks/undies) plus a toiletry bag into it. I didn’t give it any stars yet for durability cause I’ve not had it long enough to judge. I’ve not checked it under a plane yet and that’s the true test. I paid MUCH MORE for this particular suitcase compared to past suitcase purchases to get the durability. I hope the price reflects that and I get several years of use out of this bag.

Habe den Koffer als Ergänzung zu meinem Rimowa Carry On gekauft, weil die bei den Preisen absolut hohl drehen. Der Koffer hat eine gute Größe, eine logische Aufteilung. Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln nach der ersten interkontinentalen Reise. Würde ihn wieder kaufen.

I ordered this 28 luggage because I find my level8 carry-on a very good buy. However this luggage seem like a returned item and was re-shipped to me from a dissatified customer apparently. Unlike the carry-on that i received, this luggage was delivered in a tattered box and without any manual. I have to figure out how to change lock combination and none is available on the web. I called Level8 customer service by searching for the number in the internet. I also did not realize until now that it was a zippered luggage because that was unclear in the pictures or even misleading here. Level8 carry on is not zippered, so I figured that its luggage may be the same as the carry-on given its high price of 269.00 (before taxes). Now i think after receiving this luggage, it is too expensive for the price and far from a good investment. I would return it if I have time but I need to pack for my flight tomorrow i.e., time wont permit me. I am hoping Level8 will be more intentional in checking its shipping and clear with the kind of zippered luggage that they are selling.

Super easy to maneuver, light but can fit a lot and great for travel!

All these other high end brands have great lite weight luggage but no one bet the price of this luggage. It’s lite weight and so easy to pull. LOVED it. The wheel are durable and strong and it even comes with a cover to protect it.

Quality and stylish product

Everything it said wouldn’t happen did indeed happen. Should’ve listen to the other reviews. Faulty zippers, scratches appearing from the smallest things becoming super noticeable, space not as advertised. I had high hopes. Giving it a three so people pay attention but deserve a 1 star as I immediately replaced it with another more sleek yet durable brand.
