Took this on a few flights. It got “scuffed” slightly which is to be expected. But it’s not very noticeable and it still looks great. I feel fancy when I use it.

I ordered this 28 luggage because I find my level8 carry-on a very good buy. However this luggage seem like a returned item and was re-shipped to me from a dissatified customer apparently. Unlike the carry-on that i received, this luggage was delivered in a tattered box and without any manual. I have to figure out how to change lock combination and none is available on the web. I called Level8 customer service by searching for the number in the internet. I also did not realize until now that it was a zippered luggage because that was unclear in the pictures or even misleading here. Level8 carry on is not zippered, so I figured that its luggage may be the same as the carry-on given its high price of 269.00 (before taxes). Now i think after receiving this luggage, it is too expensive for the price and far from a good investment. I would return it if I have time but I need to pack for my flight tomorrow i.e., time wont permit me. I am hoping Level8 will be more intentional in checking its shipping and clear with the kind of zippered luggage that they are selling.

Travelling in 2 weeks time, will report again on how it survives multiple airports and several long haul flights

I purchased this carry-on ahead of my most recent trip from Charlotte to Los Angeles. I wanted something light and compact that was capable of carrying a decent amount. I got exactly what I paid for. This thing is super smooth when rolling through the airport. It is very maneuverable and can be twisted from right to lift with literally the guidance of only your fingers. It is exceedingly lightweight and carries a decent amount of clothes. I purchased the packing cubes with it and was able to get 5 pairs of jeans, 3 collared shirts, 4 t-shirts, a pair of Red Wing boots, 5 pairs of underwear, 5 pairs of Darn Tough socks, all of my toiletries, and charging cables for my iPad, MacBook Pro, iPhone, and Apple Watch. I cant ask for more. I have seen many reviews on peoples Level 8 luggage being scratched. In all honesty, this feels like being negative just to be negative. My luggage did not receive a single nick or scratch on this trip, but EVERY piece of luggage is eventually going to get scratched when traveling. It is unavoidable. This luggage does not scratch to a degree greater than any other luggage I have owned. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and will look at purchasing a larger set as well.

It made the outbound leg, but one of the wheels broke on the return leg on its very first trip... at 43 lb. Otherwise, very maneuverable, maybe a little too much as it liked to roll away if I wasnt careful with it. The outside scratched, but is expected. The wheel breaking is not. EDIT** I suppose it was a fluke and bad luck that the wheel broke. Excellent support and very quick responses! They shipped out a new wheel for me and I was able to replace it. The suitcase is back in useable condition! I just got back from a 3 week work trip, the case was able to fit all my needs.

I received this as a gift for Christmas and after just two uses it has cracked. My previous Samsonite lasted me 5 years of travelling and this hasn’t even lasted 6 months.

I purchased this suitcase (grey) a year ago. It sturdy and durable. I was using it about 6 times per year and it worked great! And it still looks like brand new (but to be honest I never checked in it’s as a luggage, always used it as carry-on). A month ago I purchased another suitcase but different color (mint blue) and very satisfied with quality. I also received few compliments from flight attendants because of unusual color.

Compared to a lot of other carry ons at the same price point, this is about the best you can get. Rolls swiftly, easy to pack, little smaller but works great. Just the handle feels like the price (little cheaper), other than that it’s great!

Zipper broke first time I used it ! Small one was not used . Did not put much in it . Didn’t like it bad Quality ! I would like a refund!

This suitcase was excellent in all aspects except durability. I used it for a single trip, for a total of four flights as checked luggage. The zipper ends that engage with the lock broke on the trip home. It looks like the zippers slid horizontally, shearing the locking zipper ends. It would be great to see the manufacturer make the zipper ends stronger for the models that are designed to be checked. I have a smaller carry-on model from the same manufacturer; its zipper has been fine, but handled gently (by me). TLDR: the zipper ends arent strong enough to withstand the abuse of checked baggage handling.
