> 3 dayI like this unit but I immediately determined I didn’t want to use it in the auto mode. After it reached the set humidity it seemed to never turn back on. I now just set it to medium and let it run. It’s gets that orange staining like any other humidifiers but it’s relatively easy to clean. There is one small part that comes out from the bottom of the tank that is hard to clean. Overall the humidifier will run for about 3 days before it requires a refill. Large opening makes refilling easy.

> 3 dayIf youre in the market for a humidifier, let me tell you, you cant go wrong with the LEVOIT Humidifier. Not only does it work like a charm, but it also has some fantastic features that make it the Cadillac of humidifiers. First off, lets talk about the size. This thing is perfect for large rooms, so if youre trying to humidify a small closet, you might want to look elsewhere. But if youre like me and you need something to cover a lot of square footage, this is the humidifier for you. One thing I absolutely love about this humidifier is the top-fill feature. Its so much easier than having to unscrew the bottom and fill it up from there. With the LEVOIT, you simply remove the lid and pour in your water. Its that simple. But wait, theres more! This humidifier also doubles as an essential oil diffuser. I love adding a few drops of lavender or eucalyptus to the water and letting it fill my bedroom with a delightful scent. Its like having a spa in my own home! Now lets talk about the smart app and voice control. Yes, you read that right. You can control this humidifier with your voice! I feel like Im living in the future every time I tell Alexa to turn on my humidifier. Plus, the app allows you to set your desired humidity level and even track the humidity levels in your room over time. Talk about high-tech! And if youre worried about noise, fear not. This humidifier has a quiet sleep mode, so you can leave it running all night without it disturbing your slumber. In fact, I find the white noise it produces to be quite soothing. Overall, I highly recommend the LEVOIT Humidifier. Its powerful, convenient, and even a little bit fancy with all its high-tech features. So go ahead and treat yourself (and your plants and baby) to a little extra moisture in the air. You wont regret it! 1. Choose the right size: Make sure to choose a humidifier that is the right size for the room. A unit that is too small will not be effective, while one that is too large can lead to excess moisture and mold growth. 2. Use distilled water: Using distilled water in your humidifier can help prevent mineral buildup and bacteria growth. 3. Clean regularly: Regular cleaning is important to prevent bacteria and mold growth. Follow the manufacturers instructions for cleaning and disinfecting your humidifier. 4. Change filters: If your humidifier has a filter, make sure to change it regularly according to the manufacturers instructions. 5. Control humidity levels: Use a hygrometer to measure the humidity levels in the room and adjust the humidifier accordingly. A humidity level of 30-50% is generally recommended. 6. Use the right type of water: Depending on the type of humidifier you have, you may need to use a specific type of water. For example, ultrasonic humidifiers may require demineralized water. 7. Place in a safe location: Make sure to place your humidifier in a safe location, away from electrical outlets and other hazards. Also, keep it out of reach of children and pets. 8. Use essential oils safely: If you want to add essential oils to your humidifier, make sure to use ones that are safe for use with humidifiers and follow the manufacturers instructions. 9. Empty the tank when not in use: If you are not using your humidifier for an extended period of time, make sure to empty the tank and clean it thoroughly before storing. 10. Use as directed: Always follow the manufacturers instructions for use and maintenance of your humidifier to ensure safe and effective operation.

> 3 dayI have owned a few different humidifiers over the years, including the Levoit top-fill .5 humidifier (white round product). This is the BEST one Ive owned so far. It holds enough water to use for at least 2 nights at medium humidity level and works well for small-mid size bedroom. It is as quiet as any Ive encountered--NOT noiseless, but it has only a light hum from the motor and light rippling noises from the water bubbles. I have not noticed any loud gurgling noises from the water that you can experience with other humidifiers as the water moves through the system. You CAN use tap water and Ive not seen any white residue. However, you will need to clean the product every few days (takes 3-5 minutes) with a soft hand towel and the small brush they provide to wipe away the rust/mildew stains to avoid long term staining. Its a reasonable trade-off to make for not buying a few gallons of distilled water each week. This is easier to clean than the small Levoit humidifier, but there are a couple spots that can be a bit hard to access. I dont use the internet app--the manual functions are fine for my needs (turn/on and off and leave on at a set humidity level). One caveat: If you want to use the night mode function to dim the display (which is bright), it requires you to use auto mode rather than selecting a humidity level (you have to use the app to do that in night mode). I solve this by putting a picture frame an inch in front of the display at night--not ideal, but fine solution to eliminate the brightness to avoid using an unnecessary app. Overall, im pleased with the product. It does the important things well: Good humidity, good water capacity, not annoyingly noisy and reasonable to clean if using tap water.

> 3 dayI had this for less than a year and I don’t regularly use it cause every week I have to clean it if I decide to use it on a regular basis. I use it only when me or my daughter seem to be coming down with colds or cough as it helps us be able to breathe easily at night. After a few months if not being able to use it, I just noticed multiple cracks developed all around the water reservoir right where it connects to the base. Has anyone else had this problem? This humidifier was never dropped and I was wondering if this was an ongoing issue with this because I really would like to buy a new one but if this was an issue that’s ongoing then I would buy a different one instead of buying this again

> 3 dayNothing to dislike. I got this device to keep moisture in the air, and it works well. And it is completely silent. I dont even know its on unless I look to see the vapors coming out.
