We travel full time in an RV and this humidifier was perfect for keeping the humidity levels up while traveling through the southwestern US where humidity outside was often in the teens. For most people, 40-45% is comfortable and this humidifier had no problems keeping our RV in that range (about 400 square feet of space). I love my smart gadgets and I really like that every aspect of this humidifier can be controlled remotely AND it can be paired with Alexa to create routines. Generally, we only run this at night while were sleeping and its super handy that I can have it automatically turn on in the evening and not have to worry about remembering to do it myself. So many smart products are limited in what youre able to do with them remotely, but you can control everything about this humidifier right from your phone or by simply telling Alexa what to do with it. The only downside to this humidifier is that it doesnt come with a filter to remove impurities in the water, which means it leaves a layer of white dust on everything. Its easy enough to wipe up, so its not a big deal for us. Also, just as a note, if you have a stove top with propane burners, the dust will cause the flames to burn bright orange. This isnt dangerous or harmful. Just be aware of it. As with every other humidifier Ive ever owned, the digital hygrometer is never accurate. I have always used several hygrometers in my home to monitor humidity levels and I rely on those instead of the one built into the humidifier. As a matter of fact, with this humidifier, I just turn off the display completely and adjust the output and humidity levels based on my other hygrometers. Again...not a big deal and Ive had to do this with every humidifier Ive ever owned.

This is a 10! Its a no-noise effortless product. I love the app that allows you to schedule on/off times. We have it in our daughters room and it is scheduled to go on ten minutes before coming home from school and go off ten minutes after she leaves for school. It has an optional night light that you can schedule to go on and off and even the display can be scheduled to go on/off without the unit shutting off. My daughter said the display was too bright for her room so we have the unit scheduled to go on showing the display and at 10:15pm, the display goes off but the unit continues to run. Everything can be controlled by the app. The bonus feature is that it allows for essential oil to be added to a filter. Considering it runs for 14 hours straight, I only have to refill it every other day with a humidity setting at 55%. Not bad.

Love the connectivity and the voice assisted set up with Alexa! Great product! It’s easy to clean and it lasts a long time (provided you have somewhat still air. When the A/C is running it tends to consume water quicker)

We bought this humidifier to add humidity to our 1383 square ft condo in a very dry environment, Las Vegas NV. Everything was drying out, not to mention the shocks from static electricity. We purchased the unit in Oct 2021. What a difference it made. This unit was able to provide a very comfortable level of humidity through out most of the unit. We filled the reservoir twice a day. Unfortunately, after a year plus of operation, the unit became erratic in its operation. I contacted Levoit and tried to resolve the issue. The support group was very responsive, but unfortunately, the issue could not be resolved. At that point, Levoit said they would replace the unit. Five days later, a new unit arrived. A very effective unit ... and a company that stands behind its product. Kudos to Levoit and the support staff. I only gave it a 4 star (as opposed to 5), only because I did have a problem with the unit. But functionally, its a 5 star.

Super quiet humidifier. Puts out mist instantly as soon as you turn it on. Like that I got the top-fill version. I use well water that has been run through a water softener and am not having trouble with white dust. Sometimes I can see a haze in the room, but Im not finding furniture covered with dust. Only complaint is the practicality of having to clean humidifiers as often as they say we should. I try to rinse mine out every couple of weeks and do a bigger cleaning every month. We run it all day during the winter in our main living area while heating with dry wood heat.

It works great, just not the smart feature. That being the main reason I bought it Im kinda disappointed. The sensor updates too slow shutting off by the time my grow tent gets to 20% higher RH than the target. Ended up causing mold on most of my plants. I fixed it being getting a smart dehumidifier but I would still recommend this for people who dont mind if the humidity is slightly off and would like the app control.

Im pretty sure my nose bleeds were caused by the dry cold winter air. Moisture fixes that issue. Quiet. Comfortable. Reliable.

We love this humidifier! After going through 2 that broke or stopped working, I finally caved and bought a nicer one. It’s easy to clean, I love that I can turn it on or off with my phone while I’m rocking my child to sleep, and gives me updates and reminders when it’s out of water or needs a cleaning. It’s worth the money!

I have owned a few different humidifiers over the years, including the Levoit top-fill .5 humidifier (white round product). This is the BEST one Ive owned so far. It holds enough water to use for at least 2 nights at medium humidity level and works well for small-mid size bedroom. It is as quiet as any Ive encountered--NOT noiseless, but it has only a light hum from the motor and light rippling noises from the water bubbles. I have not noticed any loud gurgling noises from the water that you can experience with other humidifiers as the water moves through the system. You CAN use tap water and Ive not seen any white residue. However, you will need to clean the product every few days (takes 3-5 minutes) with a soft hand towel and the small brush they provide to wipe away the rust/mildew stains to avoid long term staining. Its a reasonable trade-off to make for not buying a few gallons of distilled water each week. This is easier to clean than the small Levoit humidifier, but there are a couple spots that can be a bit hard to access. I dont use the internet app--the manual functions are fine for my needs (turn/on and off and leave on at a set humidity level). One caveat: If you want to use the night mode function to dim the display (which is bright), it requires you to use auto mode rather than selecting a humidity level (you have to use the app to do that in night mode). I solve this by putting a picture frame an inch in front of the display at night--not ideal, but fine solution to eliminate the brightness to avoid using an unnecessary app. Overall, im pleased with the product. It does the important things well: Good humidity, good water capacity, not annoyingly noisy and reasonable to clean if using tap water.

Ive had Air Innovations humidifiers for years and I finally got tired of how horrible they were to clean, and you cant get in a lot of the areas to remove the nasty gunk that built up even after a month, granted I was just adding tap water (and I have good tap water) and would run it 24/7, so I decided to research a totally different one. I bought this based on the reviews as well as what I really wanted. I wanted something large, that was top fill and also decided I would put filtered water in it, so I bought a fairly large zero 20 cup pitcher, as I use them anyway for my drinking water and since the humidifier is top fill I just fill it up every day and only run it at night. I wanted to wait until Ive had a month and cleaned it so I could report. This was hands down SO much easier to clean. There was no gunk or crud at all. I would suggest having some sort of bottle brush or vase brush to clean it with to get in all the nooks and crannies, but I am super happy with this humidifier. It really puts out the moisture and I love the simple dial. Its super solid, very quiet and nice looking and like I said easy to clean. I really am glad I purchased this!
