Really like the smart feature and connect-ability. In auto mode it is one and done. Only bad thing is you need the app to have more control but the app is user friendly.

Not sure why but my HEPA filter in the apartment has been working on higher speed since I plugged in the humidifier. Tuened the humidifier off and it went back to normal filtering. I have another humidifier in my bedroom which was originally in the living room, that did not excite the HEPA. I havent cleaned it yet since it is new.

This is the only humidifier in my studio. Keeps instruments working in the dead of dry winter.

I bought this product to control the humidity in my bedroom in order to help me breath at nights and reduce my dry skin issue especially in the winter. I must say it’s a great product to have with all its smart features, I set mine on a schedule to turn on at 8pm and shut off at 8AM which works great. So far I love it and have no major issues with it, only that I cannot smell the aroma when using the aroma pad. I believe it doesn’t spread the scents around the room I can only smell the essential oil at the back of the humidifier where the aroma pad is located. That’s the only issue I have with it but I still think it’s a great product and I will keep it.

I was looking for a humidifier for our bedroom and initially bought a Vornado model. It definitely performed the job, but BOY was it noisy. Not just the distinct continuous whirring of the humidifier, but a periodic GLUG-GLUG-GLUG ever 30mins or so. Really not suitable for a bedroom. So I went to NYT Wirecutter and looked at their recommendations, settling for this Levoit. Night and day difference! Here is how it is better than the Vornado: * in automatic sleep mode, its so close to silent that it doesnt matter. It delivers humidity easily well enough to be on the other side of the room and I can just barely hear when it is operating, really just the sound of steam escaping. No whirring, clunking or gurgling whatsoever. * thank heavens! a sleep mode where all the lights and displays are 100% turned off. I dont need a light display in my room at night, thanks * top-filling reservoir. The Vornado needed you to remove the reservoir and fill it upside down. This leads to the worrying situation where if you knock the device or mishandle it at all, it might dump the entire contents of the reservoir instantly onto the floor. This is dumb. Its also the reason that the Levoit doesnt glug-glug-glug. * the app is pretty good. Some have complained that it spams you with emails and stuff - it does by default, but you can switch all that off. The app itself makes it easy to set up a schedule where it automatically comes on at - say - 7pm, and switches itself off at 6am, constantly monitoring the humidity and keeping it at 55%, with all the lights stay off all the time. The Vornado could not do this (or I couldnt figure out how to) My only complaint is that although it keeps bugging me to clean it (probably a good idea) its not really clear what an acceptable amount of cleaning is, it just tells you to disassemble it. Otherwise, its an impressively designed and functional piece of equipment. (full disclosure, I used to be a product designer, so I respect the thought and care that went into this device - the team should feel proud or themselves!)

It is a decent looking device and certainly works as advertised. It can empty the entire reservoir in one day if left on high, so it can really pump out the mist. It is very quiet and can regulate itself by maintaining a particular humidity level, which is a nice feature. On the minus side, while it can be app controlled, the app is ludicrously bloated and intrusive with endless notifications and advertisements. The hygrometer that it uses to maintain a set humidity gets thrown off wildly when refilling the reservoir making it necessary to set it to low for a few hours to settle it down before putting it back on automatic or else itll never turn itself back on again no matter how dry the room is. The display is either super bright or off. It would be nice if it could be dimmed at night. After a year and a half of use, the plastic around the transducer is being eroded away by the ultrasound (cavitation erosion) but I imagine the only real problem with that is it will get a little louder in the future. But the biggest problem is how difficult it is to clean. Around here, red mildew (actually bacteria) forms in all damp spaces and this humidifier is no different. Thats not the humidifiers fault. But there are so many small spaces both in the base and at the bottom of the reservoir, which doubles as the spout for the mist output, that even a toothbrush is too big to reach them. Also the spout has a noise reducer that can be partially disassembled, but part of it is fixed at the bottom of the spout and cant be removed or reached unless you have a very specifically shaped bottle brush. The instructions only talk about cleaning out scale with vinegar, a problem I dont have, but make no mention of how to actually clean for bacteria or mildew. Ive used diluted chlorine bleach, but that small part at the base of the spout cant be reached so I just pour the bleach through as the last step and its good enough, I guess, but whatever I couldnt reach just re-seeds the bacteria making more frequent cleanings necessary. Every other problem could be chalked up as a quirk, but the pain of cleaning this machine is the reason I wouldnt recommend this unit to others.

This is a 10! Its a no-noise effortless product. I love the app that allows you to schedule on/off times. We have it in our daughters room and it is scheduled to go on ten minutes before coming home from school and go off ten minutes after she leaves for school. It has an optional night light that you can schedule to go on and off and even the display can be scheduled to go on/off without the unit shutting off. My daughter said the display was too bright for her room so we have the unit scheduled to go on showing the display and at 10:15pm, the display goes off but the unit continues to run. Everything can be controlled by the app. The bonus feature is that it allows for essential oil to be added to a filter. Considering it runs for 14 hours straight, I only have to refill it every other day with a humidity setting at 55%. Not bad.

This was easy to set up, to use, and wow, did it deliver great results. In the Auto mode, it keeps the humidity at the level set via my smart phone. For me, even though I live next to the ocean, it means NO nose bleeds and dry throat upon waking up. Plus, my plants are growing even faster with gorgeous new growth. Very, very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
