> 3 dayI can not say enough about this broom /vacume. It has changed my life . Its slightly and small.ot fits anywhere. The auction is unbelievable. Its got super suction . I bring it up and down stairs with ease . The white tile bathroom has never looked better . I can grab it for any little crumb in the kitchen, my kitchen floor had never looked better. I really am so happy I bought this . It works on all types of floors. The dog rips apart her toys and it even picks up all the dog toy fluff . The hairs on the bathroom floor are no match for my Makita.. It is must have

> 3 dayWe have kids and dogs, so debris and pet hair on the floors and stairs is always an issue. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming with a traditional machine and attachments is unnecessary laborious and often ineffective, so I wanted something like a dustbuster, but more helpful. I spent a LOT of time researching various battery-powered vacuums. So many products got poor reviews due to internal batteries that fail and cannot be removed or replaced, requiring replacement of the entire product. What sets this product apart is that the battery is rechargeable on an external charging device (which is included with the product), so the battery is replaceable should it ever fail. And so far the battery has been amazing. Weve had vacuum for 3 months, use it about 3-4 times a week, and have only had to charge the battery twice. Makita is a power tool company. Its products are rugged and reliable, yet its lightweight enough for the kids to use. Helping keep the floors clean has actually become fun for them. The different heads are easy to interchange (brush vs. crevice tool, etc.), and the collection area is easy to empty. The machine has just enough suction to get the job done. Its not loud or whiny, but about what I would have expected. It mounts easily to a wall with the mounting mechanism included with the product. I couldnt be happier with this purchase. It was exactly what I was hoping was out there.

> 3 dayI like the vacuum, it works well. They really should remove the momentary switch and install a push-on push-off switch.

> 3 dayI have had this vacuum for 1 1/2 years and it is the same as the day I bought it. The quality is amazing especially since I seem to drop it often. The sucking power is much better then other vacuums and often vacuum my whole house(Pergo flooring) because of the convenience of the vacuum. I need to use the vacuum often because I have a bird that litters the floor with seeds often. It even vacuums up larger pieces easily. I have 4 family members that love the vacuum and ended up buying one also even though the price of the vacuum is expensive (in my opinion). But all that have bought it agrees the cost is worth it. I can not say enough good things about this vacuum. Once you have the battery and charger it is a lot cheaper for just vacuum replacement. But I have not had to buy a new one yet. You will need to buy the vacuum filters, but I often just tap the dust out of the filter instead of replacing it.

17-11-2024I own 3, one in the garage, one in the house and one in my suv. As someone who owned a dyson handheld and other cheaper models over the years, lack of suction and just really poor battery time (5-8min) made them go in the garbage quickly. This baby I have had for 3+ years and man they still go strong, I have tons of makita batteries so if it dies I pop in another. Easily has 30min run time on high. Buy the cyclone attachment if your using it in the house as it works well. We have a robot vac in the house and use this for spot cleaning and the stairs. In the garage it’s excellent and great for keeping the car clean.

> 3 dayI recently purchased a new Mikita drill and impact driver and noticed this handheld vacuum. My wife has been looking for a small cordless vacuum so I grabbed this with the idea I will have extra batteries that we could share. She wanted a small cordless for touch up jobs around the house that don’t need the big floor vacuum so we gave this a try and wow pretty impressed. For its size it really does a decent job much better than we expected. Noise level it is a little higher than a cordless drill so not too loud. Battery life seems really good as well. I picked up a spare 4.0 Ah battery to share between the Makita tools we have and the battery is still showing full after several uses. So if you have any Makita cordless tools this would be a good addition to your arsenal. It is great for quick cleanups or in between using the large floor vacuum. The floor attachment works well on hardwood floors and carpet.

> 3 daySame cracks as everyone else. Design flaw. Uneven force will be applied to this spot when connecting and using daily. The crack WILL happen eventually to each and every unit; whether it will break catastrophically will vary. I did the same thing as AJ, one of the reviewers here by cutting off the bottom of a 30mm A-10 Warthog shot glass and used the tube as reinforcement. I had 6 of those shot glasses lying around so his idea made wonders. What I did extra was adding JB Weld to both surfaces (scuff the plastic and metal before applying the glue). I hammered the tube down gently. Once its settled, this spot becomes much stronger and doesnt look ugly. This repair should be done early on instead of waiting till the cracks develop further. BTW, the new version of this vacuum now uses clip in style instead of friction - which I believe to be no good because the weak spot remains weak while you no longer have the option to mend it by adding a straight tube. The picture shows that I cut the tube longer to the edge of spout. Picture uploading function is not available now. Still dont know why there is no uploading pic button anymore...
