Mastercook 15 Recipe PC

Product Sucks. Does not work properly. I keep loading recipes into it and as soon as I reboot recipes are gone. I have 46 Recipes loaded in and program will not let me go beyond that. Tech support is a joke. When you try to git anything out of them they treat you as if they were talking to Bill Gates. I dont do techno speak

I have used MasterCook for years and years. To be honest I only use it to create my own cookbook. Sometimes there have been major glitches like it accidentally deletes all my recipes! The good news is that their support team is fantastic and always walks me through any problems that I have helpfully and patiently. I especially acknowledge Pam Erickson for this.

An excellent program that is very well done. It arrived faster that expected.

Was looking for a PC alternative to MacGourmet. Easy to use, powerful recipe and shopping list management software. Purchased MasterCook in that sprit and have found it to be ridiculously bad software. After an hour of trying to import and use my own recipes have come to the conclusion that I wasted my time and my money. The interface is clugy and difficult to use. The data management screens and dialogue boxes are dated and hard to use. Seriously looks like Windows Vista

It comes with hundreds of recipes, more than a few to show functionality.

I have been using MasterCook since 2001 to write cook books for several companies that I worked for in the past and now for my culinary business and my clients. I like how simple and easy it is to edit recipes and publish them. I had an issue with the program crashing and through very good communication, and dedication from there customer support that issue was resolved via an update. I am very impressed with there customer support. Back to the program. The improvement such as the online storage of my recipes is a great feature, for the reason I have not back up in the past and I have had to recreate recipes and books. This no longer happens with the online sync, also the back work so much better than in the past.

I have mastercook 15, and it stopped working as mastercook does not support the program on Firefox.. I have not been able to make this work and I do not advise anyone to purchase this program, at this time. After a month of emailing mastercook they are not willing or unable to fix anything. It was a great program when it worked. Not now. Beware

I found absolutely nothing new about and in some ways, its more difficult to make even the most basic changes to recipes.

I purchased this software because of the rating, supposed to be 4 to 5 stars; I found it very confusing, not user friendly at all and when I finally figured it out then printed one recipe the formatting is awful and you can not change it.
