> 3 dayThis version of MasterCook replaced an older version. My only problem is that the images I use in the recipes disappear and are replaced by a Pictures on CD statement. That is most aggravating when you have as many recipes as I do. While customer service has tried to help, nothing has worked.

Greater than one weekIve been using Mastercook since about the 4th edition. 15 is the best yet. It can easily sync all your cookbooks you select and the recipes to your mobile device once you download the app. Once set up every time you add a recipe to the computer it automatically shows up in the app. While Im not the fastest learner with these programs and apps, and Ive had a few problems that were mostly caused by me, it is easy to get help from their Support. Just ask a question with a decent description of what is happening and Pam Erickson will get back to you fast. I have yet to wait more than an hour or two for a response and she is always able to get me going again. No other program has this kind of support.

> 3 dayI have been looking for something to replace MyRecipeBox on my iPad as I need something that has cross platform support and synchs my cookbooks between devices. I had high hopes for this product, as it has been around for many years and people seem to love it. I was utterly dismayed when I installed Mastercook 15 on my PC and launched it. The UI looks like something from the 1990s. The graphics are horrendous. It is kludgy to use, and NOT intuitive AT ALL. One would think Home would take you to your library of cookbooks, allow you to add/look up a recipe, maybe show some recent recipes that were accessed/added. You know. Those things that are the MOST COMMON, REGULAR tasks that you would want to do. But no...it takes you to a screen with links to uncommon/one time activities such as download the iOS mobile app, import from previous versions, create a Group Cookbook, and tutorials. Seriously??

> 3 dayI originally went to MasterCook after Living Cookbook went dark would not install on Windows 10. The reason I went ot MasterCook was that they could import all of my recipes (for a fee), but since I did not want to type in the 500+ recipes again, it was a bargain. At first the program was great, but then stuff started to bug me.

> 3 dayI finally installed the software from the disk (purchased the software right before my father passed away and forgot about afterward) and opened an account with them to find out that it did not come with an activation code. I feel cheated! I wasted my money for nothing!

> 3 dayI had the original software from probably the 1990s. It was a very handy program, though not particularly slick. I have been through a couple of computers and this time I cant find my cd. The tech who transferred the info saved my recipes however. I was going to buy the new software, but after reading the reviews, I wont, Its not worth it to me to get into a monthly subscription so I will just organize the recipes in some fashion so they are easily accessible.

> 3 dayI just purchased this software from Mastercook. If you are unhappy with Cookn you need to check this out. I had been using Mastercook for years but Cookn allowed syncing between devices and now they want $14.99 a month to do this. Well Mastercook cost 9.99 a year to sync.
