> 3 dayIm not as enthusiastic about this program as so many others here. It looks very rudimentary compared to similar programs. It works, but the way it is set up it looks like something from the early 90s, which is pretty much the stone age for software. I had a problem where the program became corrupted somehow. It was working fine one day and wouldnt boot the next and I hadnt done anything in the meantime. Luckily I had only started to use it, but I would be very annoyed if I had a lot of recipes loaded already. Tech support did answer me and told me to delete it and reload which I had already done. When I asked if they knew why this happened because I didnt want to lose recipes again they blamed me for not waiting until talking to them first. Huh? I did exactly the same thing they told me to do and lost the recipes. I thought their response was a bit snippy, but at least they did answer me in a timely manner. I would not buy this program again though.

> 3 dayThis is the third version of MasterCook Ive owned. I started years ago with version 4. I updated to Version 8 several years ago and now version 15 to go along with Windows 10.

> 3 dayI had an earlier version so knew what to expect. Since I am not as computer literate as I would like, the lack of printed instructions is a small problem for me. But overall iit is a good program.

> 3 dayThe software is difficult to use and confusing, the app is nearly worthless. Further, customer service is 0. My computer crashed, I did not have my download email. I now have no software. I will never buy from these clowns again.

> 3 dayI bought this specifically because I can input all my family recipes on my PC, utilizing full keyboard & mouse, and then access them down in the kitchen using my iPad. True, that additional access requires an annual subscription, but well worth it.

> 3 dayThe program is functional, but their marketing plan does not inform you that in order to continue using it after one year, you must have a SUBSCRIPTION. Personally, I feel withholding that information is less than honest marketing,

> 3 daySoftware looks like it was written in the 80s and never updated. Wont let you import recipes from other cookbook programs. As a Software Engineer with over 40 years experience, Id be ashamed to put my name of this package.

> 3 dayHave been using MasterCook for years. Did a family and friends cookbook as Christmas gifts several years ago, they were a big hit, some have been handed down to their kids. I like the fact that I can now share recipe books and my recipes with family on line, great feature, I dont any longer get those phone calls How did you make this. Great program,

> 3 dayPremise of this software is great. However, the first year I had this all of the recipes I had hand typed into a cookbook that I created disappeared one day. Frustrating, but I figured ok - lets give this another go, it was an unfortunate mistake. Another years worth of recipes and today it happened again. I updated the program, opened it up and saw that my recipes were intact.... until I added one new recipe. Then, all of the recipes are gone and the new one I added was not even there. A completely empty cookbook again. Found the file, tried restoring to a previous version - nothing. Whoever creates this program has no idea how to design software - avoid like the plague.
