> 3 dayI had the original software from probably the 1990s. It was a very handy program, though not particularly slick. I have been through a couple of computers and this time I cant find my cd. The tech who transferred the info saved my recipes however. I was going to buy the new software, but after reading the reviews, I wont, Its not worth it to me to get into a monthly subscription so I will just organize the recipes in some fashion so they are easily accessible.

> 3 dayAlthough the interface isnt as appealing as it was back when MC was being produced by Sierra, it still has the same functionality and ease of use. Ive been using this product for more years than I can count and am happy I broke down and finally upgraded.

> 3 dayI have hundreds of recipes, so the custom cookbooks are nice. I just wish there was a quicker way to put them in other than cut and paste, as they were all stored on various Word documents

> 3 dayThis software requires ongoing investment without providing modern functionality. As other reviews have mentioned, the program looks like a relic from the 90s. I owned 8.0 and paid to “upgrade” to 15.0. There were no new features, the print layouts were still archaic, and the glitches with web imports and other basic tasks remained. In the years between 8.0 and 15.0, the only observable change was a “home” screen that allowed you to navigate between online (paid) account access and your pc. The site previously advertised free web accounts but has since changed to requiring all accounts to pay a subscription. Clearly the company has received many complaints from unhappy customers as there are repeated references to the product being non-refundable. There is no place on the site where customers can provide feedback/reviews. Further, the tech support in my experience was snippy and rude.

> 3 daySoftware looks like it was written in the 80s and never updated. Wont let you import recipes from other cookbook programs. As a Software Engineer with over 40 years experience, Id be ashamed to put my name of this package.
