> 3 dayFantastic program. I just recently purchased this because of the new $180 a year subscription by the Cookn/DVO program. I was NOT about to start paying that amount for a recipe program. Anyway, that situation put me in search of an alternative. I found Mastercook 15. I have Windows 10. Everything works flawlessly on my desktop computer and also on my ipad. I really like that you can insert additional photos as demonstration pictures aside from the main photo. I also really liked the fact that I needed to convert my prior recipe backup from BigOven and was able to send that file to Mastercook, whose techs converted it to the mastercook file so I could flawlessly import it. AND Mastercooks techs took care of that in ONE day. Bravo. (When I purchased Cookn, they charged me $10 additional to buy a program that would convert my recipes to the .dvo files.)

> 3 dayI had a lot of old recipes in my old PC created by and older version. The company doesnt support upgrading these files unless I upgrade my license with a $75 fee. Not worth it. Wish I hadnt wasted my money.

> 3 dayI have been using Master Cook since the 1980s. It is a great program. The new version is Version 22, bur this version is just as good. I have 3 homes and I cant travel with my cook books. With Master Cook everything is stored online. No matter where I go, my recipes are with me. On my PC, on line and on my phone which is handy when I shop.

> 3 dayWhat I liked was the ability to retain the 2500 recipes I had in my files. What I think is total B.S. is not being able to transfer the software from one computer to another without having the original disk!

> 3 dayI found absolutely nothing new about and in some ways, its more difficult to make even the most basic changes to recipes.

> 3 dayThis program is useful, but its clunky, to say the least. Theres a newer version, but it seems overpriced and connected to an online subscription (which I do not want to pay), so I bought this version. Since I had an earlier version of this software, I knew how to navigate the system, so it works for me. However, if you are new, theres a heck of a learning curve.

> 3 dayWas looking for a PC alternative to MacGourmet. Easy to use, powerful recipe and shopping list management software. Purchased MasterCook in that sprit and have found it to be ridiculously bad software. After an hour of trying to import and use my own recipes have come to the conclusion that I wasted my time and my money. The interface is clugy and difficult to use. The data management screens and dialogue boxes are dated and hard to use. Seriously looks like Windows Vista

Greater than one weekI bought this figuring I could use it for my recipes and I couldnt even get the program to go into my computer.
