> 3 dayIve been a user of MasterCook for a decade or more. Years ago, serious development stopped on the software, and they converted to an annual subscription model at about $30/year. I was annoyed but inertia kept me with them. The latest news is that MasterCook 2020 is due this month, and the new cost will be $100 to $125 (or more) per year. This is another example, like Quicken or MS Office 365, of companies taking mature software, converting it to the SaaS (Software as a Service) model, and milking what users remain. After considerable research, I have converted to Paprika Recipe Manager 3, which seamlessly imported all 500 of my MasterCook Recipes. Paprika has every single feature that I wanted - and more. Plus, its much simpler to use, even on multiple devices. The direct import of recipes from websites is particularly robust. I have zero association of Paprika, btw.

> 3 dayThis version of MasterCook replaced an older version. My only problem is that the images I use in the recipes disappear and are replaced by a Pictures on CD statement. That is most aggravating when you have as many recipes as I do. While customer service has tried to help, nothing has worked.

> 3 dayThis Computerized format for organizing my recipes for my family has proven to be very effective. I have looked into it, and most companies want you to purchase several copies for resale to others for a profit, but I have just been interested in putting some old recipes from my family together in a format that would allow me to print them out and put in a binder of my choice, and create as many as 1 or more without having to sign a contract for 100 or more for publishing. Very easy to navigate within formats provided and can plug nutritional information and other pertinent information on each recipe. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do a small version or prototype without publishing. Very Nice ..

> 3 dayI bought this specifically because I can input all my family recipes on my PC, utilizing full keyboard & mouse, and then access them down in the kitchen using my iPad. True, that additional access requires an annual subscription, but well worth it.
