> 3 dayI tried a free recipe software that was so intuitive, I thought all products would be the same. I was wrong. The Master 15 Recipe PC software makes no sense. No way to easily catigorize recipes. Saving recides does not save to a predeterimine catagory. Waste of time and money.

> 3 dayMy love affair with MasterCook is over! I began using this product when it first came out, back in the days of floppy discs, and found it to be the best cookbook database around. I have faithfully upgraded this, in all its different guises and over 20 odd years have added a substantial number of personal recipes. So, why the falling out? Simply put, the new incarnation of Mastercook is too buggy to be reliable. I am running windows 10 with MC 15 and find I am having to re-load the program constantly. Ask it to do the simple things and it is perfectly good, it has some great extra features but... ask it to do multiple things for example transfer more than a dozen recipes over to a new cookbook and it crashes. Opening the program to simply access a recipe is a gamble as to if it decides to work today or not. I have better things to do with my time than to endlessly tinker with a buggy program.

Resistance is Futile!
> 3 dayThere are very few computer cookbooks available, of all of them, this is the most useful. Not perfect, but better than the others out there.

> 3 dayI used an earlier version for years, not sure I like the upgraded version as well, still like the nutritional part when i add my own recipies.

Greater than one weekAlthough the interface isnt as appealing as it was back when MC was being produced by Sierra, it still has the same functionality and ease of use. Ive been using this product for more years than I can count and am happy I broke down and finally upgraded.

> 3 dayI bought this software because I am no longer able to access my recipes using Living Cookbook. I thought this would be an easy transition since I had a backup copy of my Living Cookbook recipes. The other reviews of this software talked about the good support for importing LCB files into Mastercook. Once I received my software, I was disappointed to learn that I had 5 updates that I needed to download and apply. In addition, in order to import my recipes, I either have to use a piece of free shareware (that isnt working for me yet), or pay $75 for Mastercook support to do the conversion. There is no built-in feature of the software for doing this conversion. In fact, the Help FAQ says that you will need to pay a fee if you require lengthy support time.

> 3 dayThis offers more possibilities and learning than previous versions. It is quite easy to use. I use it to store and share many old family favorites.

Greater than one weekI did not purchase this program from Amazon but directly from MasterCook because of a sale not offered by Amazon. In that sense I am a verified buyer. The MasterCook software gets good reviews from almost every reviewer. It is truly full featured and has many templates and lots of recipes included.
