> 24 hourHave to say I wasnt sure if I could get this work after some woes a friend had with wireless controllers and emulators, but we had 4 Wii U Pro Controllers sitting around that we dont really utilize. Setup was easy. I just installed the drivers/software from the disk before plugging them in and they were recognized in RetroArch. I did have to go through and assign all the buttons, but RetroArch makes that easy. Have been working great for over a month.

> 24 hourIm a Mac user with a partitioned Windows 7 on this laptop, and because my main system is Mac, I was a little fearful it wouldnt work given the description doesnt mention it on here, but I got it in the mail and woah ho woah hey, no downloaded needed - just plug it in and it works flawlessly. Just connected the USB part, synched it properly, and boom, I was playing. It works great also on my windows segment, as expected. so if youre a mac user and on the fence, i was there too but it works great. *Using Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

> 24 hourthis works beautifully with my alienware X51. recognizes the controller as a 360 controller. only thing that you gotta get used to is the abxy mapping. as you know, the a and b, as well as x and y are reversed. once you get used to it, u will play like a pro. the connector port only connects one controller at a time so you will have to buy two or more for multiplayer.

> 24 hourDoes exactly as advertised here, its a no-nonsense PC adapter for your Wii U Pro controllers. There are some oddities with its direct input mode which render it incompatible with Steam - it will detect that you have a controller plugged in, and you can even navigate around the menus with the dpad / analog sticks, but you cant change the configuration at all and it accepts no other controller inputs. I suspect this may have something to do with how the adapter presents itself in direct input mode, and how steam expects to receive controller input. Steam does not automatically load a user profile for this controller either, so I suspect that nobody else has figured this out and that im not the only one with the problem. If you were planning to use this device with Steam Big Picture mode (say, for in-home streaming and multiple Wii U Pro controllers, for example), this will not work for you. Steam only recognizes it and accepts input from it in xinput mode, which only allows you to use one controller per adapter. It is 100% functional as an xinput device, all xinput compatible software sees it and accepts it as an xinput controller in that mode. As shipped, the button mapping is 1:1 (ie: A=A, B=B, X=X, Y=Y), even though Microsoft and Nintendo place these buttons in different locations on the controller. A firmware update released in February of this year allows you to press a button combination on the controller in order to reverse the mappings, which places the buttons back where youd expect them to be. The software couldve been a little more intuitive, though - I couldnt get it to work on my primary computer, and their directions left me wondering if I was just doing something wrong. So, heres what you have to do: Download the firmware updater from maysofts website, and run it as administrator. Youll see a single greyed out button that says update firmware. Unplug the device, and set it to xinput mode. Press and hold the sync button, and keep it held as you plug it in. If you did it right, Windows will detect a different device than usual, and the red light on your adapter will NOT light up. At this point, the update firmware button on the software will be clickable, and you can proceed to update the firmware. Leave it plugged in until the software tells you that the update was completed, it shouldnt take long. If this process exactly as I described doesnt work for you, something went wrong in the process and your only real choice is to try it on a different computer, which can be inconvenient or simply not possible for some. Since its a firmware change on the device and not a software update on your OS, once updated, the button combination will work to change the button layout no matter what computer its plugged into, which is nice. With this update, the controller can be considered to be completely interchangeable with every other Xinput device on the market, and no longer requires its own special button mappings. I previously gave this adapter 4 stars, but now that theyve updated it, I believe its worth 5 stars.

> 24 hourThis works perfectly out of the box and makes it easy to use a Wii U Pro Controller as either an Xinput device or up to four controllers as DirectInput devices. Itd be nice if it supported more than one Xinput device at a time, but I assume there are technical reasons for that limitation. Note that by default, the device maps the face buttons on the Pro Controller to the equivalent Xbox controller buttons based on their letter -- but A/B and X/Y are flipped in position between the controllers, so the buttons dont end up in the positions you expect. Fortunately, if you install the latest official firmware on the device, you can flip the button positions so that theyre exactly where you would expect.

> 24 hourPlug it in, install the driver from the CD or website, and use the sync buttons to pair a controller just like on the Wii U itself. All the button letters are mapped to be consistent with on-screen prompts made for Xbox controllers, which means that the positions are different. That can take some getting used to in assassins creed, for example, where the controls are displayed according to position, but I prefer having the letters consistent, in general.

> 24 hourAbsolutely incredible. This device lets you make full use of the Wii U Pro Controller on a PC. Vibration works well, controls work like they should. Oddly enough, Im used to purchasing electronics on Amazon and having them not work, but this was not the case here. No problems at all. Very easy to use. The directions are right on the back, and I set it up in less than a minute. Compare this with the 10+ hours I spent trying to get the Wii U Pro Controller to work with a Rocketfish bluetooth adapter, ultimately to have the adapter inexplicably break.

> 24 hourI got this to play Final Fantasy XIV on the PC. Because the cross-hotbar is way faster than mouse & keyboard, and I liked the D-Pad, button, and analog stick layout. Made playing Black Mage so much easier than the PS2 controller Id been using that finally died on me after many years. What can I say, this just works. Its simple to install. Install the drivers first, plug the dongle in. press the sync button on the dongle, then press the sync button on the Wii U Pro Controller and youre done. I also using this with the same controller to play the Batman Arkham series games, and its 360 Controller mode is excellent for that. Vibration works too. No hassles, no complicated configuration screens, it just works. NOTE: Mayflash make a version that works with the PS3 controller, and its just as simple to setup and use. Why struggle with the piece of crap MotionJoy, go and buy this already!

> 24 hourBeen using this for quite a few months and -LOVE IT- I love the Pro controller with its ridiculous battery life. This is the perfect compliment. Be sure to grab the software update, as other reviewers pointed out to make the buttons work correctly. But after that, its plug and play. The device itself remembers configurations, so you can bring it from computer to computer (to PS3, even!) to make it work like an Xbox controller. If you just need Dinput, its even better. Syncs multiples up no problem. I really like it. Im planning on buying another one.

> 24 hourGreat product for the Wii-u pro Controller if you want to take advantage of the long battery life and build quality. The controller pairs effortlessly once you get the drivers. Just keep in mind that the y and x buttons will be inverted.
