> 3 dayNowadays everybody is getting away from can lighting and going with LED recessed lights. They are so easy to install and you can put them anywhere. Inside the box there is a template of how big to cut your hole. Just choose where you want the light, cut the hole, and slide your wires into the tabs of box up in the attic. You don’t even need any wire nuts. You can change the brightness of the lights with a flip of a switch and they look clean and sleek. You can’t go wrong with these!

06-06-2025I used a couple of these to replace a fluorescent fixture in our walk in closet. The lights are bright and much better color. Install was relatively easy after you get past the hesitancy to cut into the ceiling. I only wish there were a way to adjust the color of the light while it is installed, that function is on the power supply which gets installed above the ceiling next to the light fixture.

Greater than one weekThese are nice lights that have a good finish. I like the different color options and the night light is a good idea that we love. All of my lights worked with no issues. I am pleased and I would buy again. 5 STARS

> 3 dayWe got these lights to use in our basement/laundry room areas. We had already gotten similar style lights for our kitchen, so we thought wed grab these for the basement due to the ease of installation because we dont need to install can fixtures for this style recessed lighting. This brand is actually pretty good. I actually like these better than the brand we got for our kitchen, but we dont feel like rewiring all the boxes over again. Wiring the boxes is not difficult, but since the lights in the kitchen work OK well just use these for the basement like we intended. These boxes are nice and compact and the wired connectors are just push in style. The wires stay in there securely and you dont have to mess with twisting wires and screwing on caps. Once the box is wired in, it just sits up in the hole where the light is to go. Dont worry, there is an included template for the diameter hole you need. We just used a hole-saw, which I highly recommend. Select which type of light glow/intensity you want prior to clipping your light in place. I like that these have such a range of light, from warm to cool and even one that looks similar to daylight. We like to pick the brightest, which is 5000K, and just use a dimmer switch. The hardest part of installing these lights is just running your own wire to get power to the boxes. I love that you dont have to install can fixtures for these lights. Theyre super lightweight, so the side clips hold them up in the sheet rock hole just fine. I took a picture of the light before we actually installed them into the ceiling (husband wired it), just to see how well they work. The work great and I cant wait to light up my laundry room area with these.

> 3 dayI have gutted a house and have been replacing the ceilings and adding a lot of downlights to both brighten rooms during the short winter days and to highlight different parts of the rooms or to set moods. To do all of that, I made a test bench where I could easily swap out different light switches and LED downlights. Not all switches work with all LED lights and not all LED lights are dimmable. Some downlights make buzzing noises when you try to dim them, others just switch off and others wont dim less than 90% of full brightness. And different switch / LED downlight combinations can achieve different results. These lights by Meconard claim to be dimmable from 3% to 100%. They are not. They maybe go down to 50% if I am being generous and depending on the switch. Some dimmers result in the light turning off if you set the switch too low. Some switches resulted in buzzing from the LED lights, but the buzzing is very soft. I would doubt most people would notice a few feet from the light. The nightlight is also dimmable and it does dim a bit more than the main light, but not to 3%. Switching between the nightlight and the regular light is done by flicking the wall switch and this feature works well. The light comes with the standard metal box where you make your connections. Opening the box to make your connections is easy enough. The light includes quick connects. The wires from the box are tinned and the wires are rigid enough to be able to push in and out of the quick connects unlike stranded copper. You can choose from several different light temperatures which works well. The switch is on the outside of the metal box so you will have to reach up into the ceiling to change the temperature, but this is normal an having the switch on the outside of the box is preferable. Overall, these are nice lights. I do wish they dimmed as much as claimed but they don’t so I am taking off stars for that. Pros: - easily switch between the light and the nightlight - five different color temperatures - come with quick connects and the light is easy to connect and to install, assuming your wiring is all ready to go on your end. - low profile Cons - not as dimmable as claimed and they can buzz with some dimming switches

> 3 dayI love the night light feature of these can lights and its something that Ive never seen before! They also have different light options, which are selected by a switch (see my close up pic). Great value at $69.99 for the 6-pack, which was the price when I ordered them on 2/21/23.

> 3 dayLike many of the similar products out there this one does exactly what we need. It provides a good amount of light. It was really easy to install and connect the wires using the push pin system they use, making it really easy to daisy chain the next light in the row. Comes with a switch to decide what light color you want ranging from 5K to 2700. I dont have them connected to a dimmer so I cant answer for the dimming quality. They are connected to a motion sensor switch and go on right away when I walk into the room.

02-06-2025These lights are really cool. The different light temperatures are a nice effect. They are surprisingly easy to install and look nice. Ive had several other lights similar to these and they are usually more expensive with the same or less amount of quality. Very nice.

> 3 dayThese lights offer the flexibility of both brightness and various color temperatures to fit different home styles and needs. They are easy to install and have great values as well if you compare $8.3/light with $9.3/light at Home Depot for the similar items with similar quality and features. They are dust free and energy efficient. I especially like the fact that I can dim them almost completely which is much needed on a hot summer night. Happy with the purchase!

> 3 dayThese 4 LED fixtures seem to be a great idea for room lighting. The color temperature can be set to what is appropriate for the room (switch settable on the metal box) and these install without the need for a permanent stud mounted light fixture. The metal box has conduit punch-outs and it should service as a junction box. The only potential concern is LED or junction box failure as it could be difficult to find replacement fixtures if for some reason they are discontinued by the manufacturer. Id suggest keeping several as spares.
