> 3 dayI recently had the opportunity to try out the Ultra Slim canless LED lights, and I have to say, Im thoroughly impressed! Not only does this recessed light have a sleek and modern design, but its also incredibly easy to install. One of the standout features of this light trim is its selectable 5 CCT (correlated color temperature) options. This means that you can choose from a range of different color temperatures to suit your needs and preferences, whether you want a warm and cozy ambiance or a cool and crisp lighting effect. Additionally, the night light feature is a nice touch that adds a subtle and comforting glow to your space. But perhaps the best thing about this recessed light trim is its energy efficiency. With its integrated LED technology, it uses far less energy than traditional light bulbs, which means you can save money on your energy bill while also doing your part for the environment. Overall, I would highly recommend these slim recessed LED lights to anyone looking for a high-quality and energy-efficient lighting solution for their home or office. Typical Dad Approved!!

> 3 dayOur home was built in the age of lamps only so we felt like we were in a cave all the time. We put 6 of these in our main bedroom and I can not believe the difference it made. They were simple to install. We bought a drill attachment that cut the holes just right and had to get wiring. Overall in about 3 hours total we had 6 working lights. Love that there are alternate levels of brightness. We set this to to medium and I really like the brightness. It’s not overly yellow or blue from warm or cool settings just nice clean light. We have several other rooms needing these and will be getting more.

> 3 dayI got the 6pk. I put two in my daughters closet. I replaced some old pull-string lights and tied them into a smart switch. I put the other four in my garage. It is a single-car garage and it has been configured for storage. I only had a light on the lift and even on a sunny day, this was not enough by far. Now my garage is lit up any time I need it. One thing that caught my eye was the angle of the clips (blue tabs). They are even pictured this way as well. If you ask me, they are upside down. I flipped all of mine over for a tighter fit and better grip. I like the smaller size vs your standard 5/6in retrofits. These also have a screw-on for the connector. Ive seen a lot that dont have this and it would be easy to disconnect. These are dimmable (not using dimmers) and color temp selectable. I like white, but my wife and daughter like the yellower ranges. These come with the level/push connectors inside the boxes. This saves a lot of time. But you will also need some cable clamps or the anti-slip plastic ones to keep your mains wire from getting a mind of its own. I think the price is good and the lifetime rating is very good as well.

> 3 dayWhen we finished our basement. We installed about 24 slim wafer LEDs manufactured by Eaton. They were expensive, nearly $30 each. They are beefy and very well made. These have many similarities to the high-end Eaton lights, and I am surprisingly pleased. The materials used are sturdy and feel like they will last. The lens feels and looks like glass (some of the budget lights are made of plastic--yuck!). The 5 colors are very similar in temperature to the Eatons as well. These lights have a smaller driver box, but its large enough to hold 2-3 incoming 14-gauge wire bundles. The clips are strong enough to hold the light in place, and when installed it looks great. These are rated for damp conditions, and I installed one in the shower ceiling; well see how well it holds up! I added a dimmer switch to the two I installed in the bathroom. We all know there are mornings when these can be too bright! Overall, I am very satisfied with the cost vs quality. If these last 5 years, I will be overjoyed! The Eaton lights, by comparison, are supposed to last 25 years... I really like these, and I would say they are a good budget light if you are looking for something nice, elegant-looking, and wallet friendly. I love them--5 stars!

> 3 dayThese lights worked out better then expected and at the fraction of the cost from the big box stores. I got 12 for the price of 3 compared to similar from the big box. Very happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayThese are great lights and easy to install. I did purchase a 6.1 inch circular saw for my drill to make cutting the holes a lot easier. No need for wire nuts because each light has the push connectors already attached with three additional connection holes for each wire. That makes it very simple to connect the lights to each other. Be sure you choose your light setting before placing them in the ceiling or you may have a difficult time getting them back out.

> 3 dayThese 4 LED fixtures seem to be a great idea for room lighting. The color temperature can be set to what is appropriate for the room (switch settable on the metal box) and these install without the need for a permanent stud mounted light fixture. The metal box has conduit punch-outs and it should service as a junction box. The only potential concern is LED or junction box failure as it could be difficult to find replacement fixtures if for some reason they are discontinued by the manufacturer. Id suggest keeping several as spares.

> 3 dayI recently have been working on switching out my old recessed can lights to the new LED lights. I ordered these because I wanted to try out the night light feature for the hallways. Installation is pretty much like other recessed cans in that you remove the old one, wire up these lights in the little box and clip the lights into the hole. The ambient light coming from the outer ring for the nightlight feature is nice and has a warm color. The regular light is very bright as well, and the color selection is very nice as well. These are great!
