> 3 dayEasy to install. Easy to connect wires with the built in quick connections. They have three brightness settings. I cut a hole in 1 x 12s and the lights just click in place. Great value for the money.

> 3 dayIf you want to add recessed lighting to a room that doesnt already have the fixtures set up, we found these to be a very good choice. Probably one of the coolest features that it has is the accent mode, which offers the bare minimum illumination but looks really cool with the other lights off in the room. Plus youre not restricted to a single warmth level of lighting. You can choose the temperature so that you dont have a cold pale light, but rather something warm and inviting for your room. Great set at a surprisingly good price.

> 3 dayThese lights are great. They are super easy to install, even if you’ve never installed Canlite’s before. These lights can go into a ceiling with almost no clearance at all. If you drill a hole through your ceiling and hit a truss, you can still use these lights. as long as your sheet rock is a half inch thick these will still work. They are super bright, but are dimmable. I highly recommend these, especially for the price. So easy to use, and rated to be installed around or in insulated ceilings.

> 3 dayI have a basement full of recessed light cans. They run about 6 per switch, so thats a good bit of light...and electric (when the kids leave them on). I picked up these Meconard 12 Pack 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights as a replacement for those cans. Nice 12 pack quantity will do nicely. The lights are super thin and lightweight. The installation instructions are ok, but this isnt an over tricky install since its a replacement of existing 6 inch cans. The power pack is also pretty small and doesnt weigh much. As you can see, it fits about in the palm of my hand. Wiring in is pretty simple, just pay attention to what youre doing and be sure to use good, safe practices (like turning off the circuit at the box). Also on the power pack is the light settings. I went with the second to highest. I dont have dimmers in this area so I didnt try them. Here are my favorite things about these lights: The low profile of the light is very nice. Plus it has that glow night light function is pretty sweet. I also love the easy no twist wiring setup. Ease of install and no need for additional stuff made me happy too. These light are supposed to last a really long time. So I cant say much about that one since they are new. But they do look very good and I DIYd them without issue!

> 3 dayEasy to install, almost invisible, and as bright as you need. I installed six in my living room around the perimeter on one circuit and a pair to highlight the fireplace/hearth on another circuit (both have dimmer switches).

> 3 dayI was extremely surprised at the quality and construction of these lights. They are a relatively easy and budget friendly way to update your house. The plug and play setup of these lights make it so easy to install or replace existing outdated lights. The control box is so light you could easily just lay it on top of your drywall if mounting to joist is too difficult. It is also fairly small so if your light placement ends up having a joist running down the middle of your hole you can still get the box into the ceiling. The lights are quite shallow as well so it should still sit flush. The retaining arms are tight enough to keep the light up but not so tight that its difficult to install or remove. I love the range of color temperature, however. The only downside is having to select which color temperature you want from each individual box so if you want to make a room warmer or cooler you have to do it at each box.

> 3 daySo these lights fade down really well and they were super easy to install and connect.. The only thing that I would really suggest is that they supply more than one template just in case you lose or cut your current template.. but thats not really the end of the world Wires were top-notch in the housing seem to be made great and didnt leave any burrs after I knocked out the knockout piece.. quick wearing connectors make it easy for everybody to do the job and really secure the wire in place inside the housing.. these are a great value for the money and I really enjoyed putting these up again stress-free if I hit a stud or ceiling truss..

01-06-2025We were looking to add some overhead lights to a couple ceiling locations in our house. My wife loves a clean ceiling with very little located in the ceiling that isnt flush and that doesnt blend in so I knew a can light would be our only real option. As this was an existing ceiling, I didnt want to have to do a bunch of ceiling repair work so I looked for an easier solution. These lights fit the bill - you simply drill the hole, run your wire, make the connect to the box, slide the box into the hole and then the spring clips pull the light up flush with the ceiling. We couldnt be happier with these lights installed and the added nightlights are a real bonus.

> 3 dayThese are great lights and super easy to install. They are perfect for our house due to some weird beams that run in the ceilings - these are so flat you can fit them anywhere to look aesthetically pleasing. An added bonus that Ive not seen on other disc lights is the toggle switch to adjust the brightness before installation. This way if you have other lights in the house - you can match the brightness level to those ones. I also light the nightlight feature as these will be going in a hallway. It is tricky to figure out how to use them though - and remember how to reset them if they are all off. The instructions included are good so I will have to keep those around in the junk drawer to remember. Great value!
