I have a basement full of recessed light cans. They run about 6 per switch, so thats a good bit of light...and electric (when the kids leave them on). I picked up these Meconard 12 Pack 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights as a replacement for those cans. Nice 12 pack quantity will do nicely. The lights are super thin and lightweight. The installation instructions are ok, but this isnt an over tricky install since its a replacement of existing 6 inch cans. The power pack is also pretty small and doesnt weigh much. As you can see, it fits about in the palm of my hand. Wiring in is pretty simple, just pay attention to what youre doing and be sure to use good, safe practices (like turning off the circuit at the box). Also on the power pack is the light settings. I went with the second to highest. I dont have dimmers in this area so I didnt try them. Here are my favorite things about these lights: The low profile of the light is very nice. Plus it has that glow night light function is pretty sweet. I also love the easy no twist wiring setup. Ease of install and no need for additional stuff made me happy too. These light are supposed to last a really long time. So I cant say much about that one since they are new. But they do look very good and I DIYd them without issue!

Our home was built in the age of lamps only so we felt like we were in a cave all the time. We put 6 of these in our main bedroom and I can not believe the difference it made. They were simple to install. We bought a drill attachment that cut the holes just right and had to get wiring. Overall in about 3 hours total we had 6 working lights. Love that there are alternate levels of brightness. We set this to to medium and I really like the brightness. It’s not overly yellow or blue from warm or cool settings just nice clean light. We have several other rooms needing these and will be getting more.

So these lights fade down really well and they were super easy to install and connect.. The only thing that I would really suggest is that they supply more than one template just in case you lose or cut your current template.. but thats not really the end of the world Wires were top-notch in the housing seem to be made great and didnt leave any burrs after I knocked out the knockout piece.. quick wearing connectors make it easy for everybody to do the job and really secure the wire in place inside the housing.. these are a great value for the money and I really enjoyed putting these up again stress-free if I hit a stud or ceiling truss..

I recommend and install a lot of 4 inch LED ceiling light fixtures and have found that they produce more than enough light. They are easier and faster to install than larger ones. I also like them for task lighting where you have the option to install closer to the work. I like them most because they blend into the ceiling and dont detract from the overall design of the room.

I got these to replace smaller, 3 inch recessed lights in my wifes medical practice. The holes for the old lights were too small, so I used a 4 inch hole saw with my drill to make the holes larger, but still found that I needed to notch out several places for the light to fit. They are easy to connect and can have direct contact with insulation, so it didnt take a lot of time to get them installed. The old lights had a flicker to them that causes headaches to people, but these do not seem to have the same issue and have, so far, been an excellent replacement. Im a little confused for the listing as suitable for wet locations since the only thing supporting that claim is a thin rubber-like gasket where the lights meet the ceiling. I would recommend not putting these in a shower or sauna (or similar wet area). In summary, they are reasonably priced lights that are easy to install.

These are a great small light for any living space where you have/had canned lighting. They are easy to install, put out enough light, and work as expected. I would recommend.

Meconard 12 Pack 6 Inch 5CCT LED Canless Recessed Lighting with Night Light, 2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K Selectable Ultra-Thin LED Ceiling Lights, 12W=110W, 1050LM, Dimmable Wafer Downlight ETL&FCC The clips for the mounting are a lot easier than some of the other canless lights that use cheap strands of metal to catch the side of where you install them. These ones can either clip on to the ceiling or if you still have can covers above the light holes, they will easily apply pressure to the side walls to keep them up. Looking at the internal components of the controller box, they could have easily just built that in to the light and have it as one unit. But you have to find a place to secure the box which takes away from what could have been a very simple install. The lights are nice a bright and the variable options and night light are great features for these at the cost.

These have been really hard to photograph. I am not the person to figure out on a point and shoot camera how to block light but collect the back ground too. Overall, they do everything they say with multiple colors of light for regular looking on the Kelven scale. The very cool feature is the night light I have to say. It really does work, and it works well too. Overall, these are very easy to install and should not cause many any difficulty. Use your head, be smart, safe ladders, safety glasses, and know your power is safe to work with. Dont be ashamed to call a tradesman in either. They will have insurance for those goof ups should they happen. Just be safe always safety first.

The lights are very bright I really like them LED Even better because that helps you to save a lot of energy and they are easy to install come with a little box so you dont have to buy one extraThey have multiple functions they look great
