I figured I would run into some quirks with the dual/switch outlet, but it was one of the easiest Wi-Fi HomeKit products to setup/install. Would buy again. I used for a fountain, and for the fountain lights each with its own timer/automation.

I have two to control Christmas driveway lights and outdoor Christmas tree lights.

Easy to setup in homekit like most homekit devices. I was pleasantly surprised that it allows you to control the two outlets separately - in homekit you can long click the plug to see both outlets and if you go to settings you can even unpair them to show as two separate devices. My only complaint is that it uses wifi instead of thread. I realize thread is brand new and more products will use it as it continues to become popular. I just dont like all these smart plugs clogging up my wifi. But for the price point and the homekit native compatibility this plug is hard to beat.

I use this with my Home app (Apple) out front of my house. One outlet is for my car charger, the other is for decorative lights. I have peak electric hours I dont want to be charging my car, so the one outlet is set to turn off during certain hours. The other outlet I have set to turn the lights on at sunset and to turn off at sunrise. Its great being able to tell the device to do two different things. Its well build, it looks nice, and works really well.

We utilize this for some outdoor lighting and I love that it has two outlet plugs. Not only do we use this all year, but we also use it for christmas lighting. Has never given any issue, even in -30F weather! Highly recommend.

I wasn’t too sure about another outside voice controlled switch after using the Kasa one I bought a couple months ago, but with my Christmas lights being up I needed an easy way to control them. This device is comparably smaller than others, at least smaller than the one from Kasa, yet has similar functionality. They HomeKit setup was dead simple but then adding it to them Meross app so I could use it with Google Home was a bit confusing - it kept trying to have me go back through them HomeKit setup. Eventually I got it working after 5 minutes. It is important to keep in mind that you shouldn’t name the room, the device, and each plug the same - they all should have a different name. I went with Location: Front Yard, Device: Outside Smart Outlet, Plug1: Christmas Lights, Plug2: Ground Lights. Those allows me to say hey Google, turn on Christmas Lights and just those lights turn on, or I can say hey Google, turn on Outside Smart Outlet and both sets of lights turn on. Overall the device is sturdy and seems really well built. It had no issues connecting to my WiFi network and I havent noticed any house or slowness when barking out commands to Google.

    Greater than one week

This is working well to control a fountain outside. It is weather-resistant, not submersible. It is in a relatively sheltered setting, so should be okay. Plastic plugs are there to protect unused outlet, if needed. Short cord to hang outside of outlet enclosure. It wouldn’t connect to HomeKit using the camera and QR code, but connected manually right away. The instructions clearly cover this eventuality, so good job there. HomeKit control works very well, both setting a schedule and manually. Outlets can be controlled independently; I didn’t need that, but feature is there and works if you do. Only caveat is that I’ve only had it for 3 weeks.

Paired quickly with HomeKit on an eero network. You do have to use the feature to pause the 5 hz band. Easy. Both outlets show up as separately controllable as expected in HomeKit. There is almost no delay when you switch on/off. I have mine paired with another indoor Meross smart plug to do scenes to turn on/off indoor and outdoor lights at the same time, and turn on/off automatically at set times of day. It’s really nice.
