> 3 dayEasy to setup in homekit like most homekit devices. I was pleasantly surprised that it allows you to control the two outlets separately - in homekit you can long click the plug to see both outlets and if you go to settings you can even unpair them to show as two separate devices. My only complaint is that it uses wifi instead of thread. I realize thread is brand new and more products will use it as it continues to become popular. I just dont like all these smart plugs clogging up my wifi. But for the price point and the homekit native compatibility this plug is hard to beat.

> 3 dayFantastic - each outlet also shows as a controllable switch! I thought both outlets were going to be controlled from the same switch, but this is fantastic!

> 3 daySo i bought this (not sure if i bought used or brand new) but it was SUPER easy to setup. Yes you can use the Meross App on your phone to set it up, but if any Apple Homekit has that little rectangular QR code sticker... you can instantly add that to Homekit. Thats what that QR is for. This product DOES NOT need the Meross app, will setup straight into your Homekit app. 3/5 stars because only 1/2 plugs worked, and you can hear the audible click noise when the Surge protection clicks on and off. It would do this constantly. Im returning this defective product and ordering the same exact product, because it was super easy to setup and works easy. Also went through 2 separate Oklahoma heavy T-Storms... So i assume its weatherproofed quite well. Tip: When setting up in Homekit, make sure to label each outlet as Outlet 1, Outlet 2, or LED lights, etc) otherwise you will forget which one is which.

> 3 dayBought this device to control an outdoor fountain and LED fountain lights separately using Smartthings. Could not connect to Smartthings without first installing the Meross app and linking the plug to it. Once it was added to the Meross app, it easily connected to Smartthings. After a 1 hour power outage the plug would not reconnect to Smartthings, showed off line. The Meross app was able to control the plug however. I had to manually re-add the device to Smartthings. Returned to Amazon and ordered a Z-Wave device: Outdoor Z-Wave Plus On/Off Light and Appliance Plug, Two On/Off Smart Outlet, Zwave Hub Required, Works with SmartThings, Wink, Alexa (ZW97). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZVQXB4R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

> 3 dayIve been getting into Homekit so I bought 3 of these to replace a different non-Homekit brand Ive been using for years. I have one thats completely outdoors (up against the wall) to control a landscape lighting transformer. These are IP44 rated so they can take some splashing but they should still be somewhat protected if possible. I have another out in a shed and another in the garage. All working flawlessly for several weeks in a wide range of weather conditions. Although not always useful since you might not have two things to power separately at the same location, I really like that the two outlets can be controlled independently from the app or Homekit. One of my uses is synching this outlet to the Meross wall switch that controls the flood lights for my back yard. Even with my flood lights on, there was an area in teh back corner that was still dark. However, I have a shed with power available back there. I installed some new floodlights on the shed and Im powering them through this device. Now when we flip the switch inside the house to turn on our old flood lights the new ones mounted to the shed come on at the same moment as if they were all wired together. I use the second outlet to turn the lights inside the shed on and off since the second outlet is there anyway. Im pleased with these so far and will update should anything change.

> 3 dayI just wanted it to work in coordination with my iPad, I could not achieve that you need some kind of a linking home device to fully set this up. I gave up, sent it back.

> 3 dayI have several Meross products, and pairing this to my home system was simple, in part thanks to the clear feedback given through the light behind the power switch. I was surprised at how nice and compact the unit is, and the flat plug is perfect for my setup. Its great to be able to control either outlet independently, or you can use your preferred home automation software to group both together as one device. My only complaint is the outlet covers. Because of their placement and shape, they get in the way if you are trying to plug in two heavy duty outdoor power cords. Fortunately they are made of a soft silicone type material, rather than hard plastic, so they can be pushed out of the way or compressed, but it might require a little dexterity. Since they are IP44, they should be allowed to hang down so rain does not enter the outlet.
