> 24 hourAs long as you’re using a 2.4 ghz it’s so easy to install. Use them for a light, candle, Christmas tree, etc! Can be a little bulky depending if you have furniture behind the outlet but overall no complaints. Led on the unit as well as a button is a bonus. I have everything setup on automation, it’s pretty neat stuff if you’re trying to start on your smart home on a budget!

> 24 hourAll the reviews that say easy to install... I have no idea what they are talking about, unless there are certain serial numbers of these plugs with the right software/hardware out of the factory that work amazingly, and other serial numbers still lingering in Amazon warehouses to be sent out that are doomed. But I ordered these both in Dec 2021 and in July 2022, first 4 plugs, then 8 plugs, and I ended up returning them all within the first day of use. First 4 couldnt deal with my 2.4/5Ghz mesh network where the networks shared the same name. But since then I upgraded to Orbi 960 6E mesh which has 6G and 2.4G networks named separately. Cool, I thought. Both a better network setup on my part and hopefully newer plugs with factory-upgraded firmware that know how to work on HomeKit better than 6 months earlier. Nope. I tried everything documented and undocumented, as well as tips & tricks mentioned in these comments, to get them onto my 2.4GHz home network along with my iPhone (everything was the latest version: iPhone, iOS and Meross app) and none of them connected properly, not via HomeKit, not via Meross app. Tried to connect them in the app, or without the app in HomeKit, or as a non-HomeKit device (by going through the Wifi network of the plug), in all cases the post factory-reset plug would switch from green/amber flashing LED to solid green LED, yet no connection to the app or HomeKit would be established. Checked on the routers admin page, and they were NOT blocked by the router, assigned their IP, properly shown as properly connected to the 2.4G wireless network with their correct MAC address. Therefore, I couldnt even check or update their firmware! Unless you want to try out your luck, Id say you stay away from these. In this day and age of 5G/6G mesh networks in many many homes, their 2.4G-only requirement and non-intuitive setup process, unchanged over 6 months, made me totally lose trust in this brand. Ill certainly wont give them a 3rd chance at making a first impression.

> 24 hourI have used other smart plug brands, but this one seems the easiest to set up in HomeKit. So far they have been very reliable as well.

> 24 hourThese things pair with HomeKit instantly and easily, be sure to take a picture of the QR code on the plug before you plug it in, then just copy and paste it from your photos to HomeKit app.

> 24 hourHad another brand I got from a friend and they weren’t that reliable or hooked up to Apple HomeKit. These do and they are so fast! There’s no delay when pressing the button on my iPhone. Love that! Would highly recommend if you are looking to get your house outlet plugs hooked up with HomeKit for cheap.

> 24 hourWow, seems like the search has ended I been looking for a HomeKit compatible plug and I do extensive research before buying this kind of gadgets, unfortunately haven’t found a trusted one and ended buying a “TP” product but seems like they are getting behind the Meross brand eventually I’m switching over Meross products because with my experience they are reliable enough. I switched my MyQ garage opener for the Meross and no regrets and replacing all my smart plugs as well and having the option of Apple’s HomeKit is a plus I been using Google Home integration but if HomeKit is available I prefer it 100% I also updated to the Meross Collie on their Indiegogo campaign and I’m very happy with the result the other Meross worked good but as mentioned I prefer the HomeKit integration with no doubt. I’m using this plug for my coffe maker, bedroom salt lamp and security cameras and they work wonderfully with no disconnection or malfunction as others I have tried, really happy with this smart mini plugs. Meross app work extremely well and gets constant updates so they care about their products and customers and that is most important thing, I’m a happy new customer and going to replace everything to Meross in the near future. Thank you Meross A happy customer,
