Excellent inexpensive, all-around knife. As soon as I got it in my hand, I had to find some wood and start using the knife. The blade was extremely sharp and the knife performed flawlessly to cut small saplings 1/2 to 3/4 inch in diameter. Trimmed them right up and was sharp enough to shave the bark. Should be terrific for a variety of uses around camp. One note: I drilled a hole in the handle and made a loop of paracord to make sure I never lose the knife. Such a hole would be a great addition to this design.

Cant beat the price. You are ruining the point of a Mora if you buy a stainless steel version, but to each his own. This is a carbon steel knife, and the quality you get out of it is nothing short of amazing. Cheap, very good sheath, very solid. Havent put it through all the rounds yet, and I dont do any batoning, as I use a camp axe. However, its very slim and I would prefer one of my thicker knives for the job, if that were the case. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this purchase. Highly reccomended if youre looking for a good field knife. Also, dont forget that with it being carbon steel, you must care for it, and always make sure its dry. Take care of it, and itll take care of you.

Solid knife for the money. Wicked sharp out of the box and really holds and edge. Solid knife for backpacking and will hold up to a fair it of abuse.

This knife is very well made and I would expect this to be a much more expensive knife. I had it camping recently and just carried it with me almost always and would pretty much cut anything I put in front of it. It was not too bad for whittling too, a bit larger than a whittling knife but still a comfortable option. Another great thing about this is the sheath, I could just easily put it over my belt, and it releases from the sheath with an easy motion but once it is back in, it is held very securely. Thanks for making a quality product for a great price!

Pretty cool knife. I love the scandi grind. Pretty hard steel, my biggest complaints are how small the tang is and the sheath doesnt retain well after usage.

Ive heard so much about the value of Mora. Ive only used mine a few times without abusing it. The second time I used is to shave some wood to make a tent stake and the tip of the knife chipped. It has been in my day pack and when I pulled it out it was completely rusty, which i guess is from humidity. My main concern was the chipping. I expected more durability. It did arrive very sharp and functioned well otherwise but I am dissapointed.

I just used it once in field, washed it, dried on my pants and put it back in cover. I came home from field and wanted to wash in details after 3 hours and saw knife got rusting on small water droplets. I had to clean all rusting using sand paper on a brand new knife. :( very annoyed
