> 3 dayThe blade on this Morakniv knife is much thicker than a regular Mora. It still arrives with a super sharp edge that you come to expect with Mora knives. It snaps into the case for solid retention.

> 3 dayNice little knife with great reviews all over the web and perfect for my bug out bag. No complaints. Lite and sharp, just covered it with some mineral oil for protection.

> 3 dayGreat all around camping knife for the price. A little heavier than the stainless steel version and has a better feel due to the weight and slightly longer grip than the stainless version.

> 3 dayThis knife will comfortably do everything you would expect a bush-craft knife to do, and it does it well. Holds an edge, easy to sharpen, carves & feather-sticks great, batons, drills with the tip, etc. Very comfortable. I own much higher dollar bush-craft knives that are now collecting dust. If Mora would make the Companion HD with the blade being 1 inch longer, it would be the perfect knife.

> 3 dayVery good knife. Functional plastic sheath that appears well-made and durable. I wish the blade was just a tad wider. To my liking its not wide enough and the photos dont show this very well. But again, for the price you pay youre getting a very well built knife, thats sharp enough, with a great rubber handle and functional plastic sheath with the belt clip. After a couple months having to edit my very positive review and downgrade it. The blade started showing signs of stain within 3-4 weeks of sporadic mild use. When I finally really needed it and used it pretty steadily for a couple of days the blade started showing multiple stain spots. Looks really crappy at this point, and again, Ive owned it for only 2 months! Not good.

> 3 dayIts a Mora, heavy duty carbon steel. It works. You can buy 5 of these while youre waiting on the perfect fixed blade to come along.

Greater than one weekI own many knives. I own survival, kitchen, utility, garden, pocket, all in various degrees of quality in terms of the steel and craftsmanship. Because of this, the most expensive knife I own is about $450 and the cheapest $5 (chinese stainless steal, where everything is worthless). This blade cost me $14. It is razor sharp, it cuts paper right out of the box. It holds its edge for long periods of time without any maintenance, which beats out many blades I own that cost over $100. Its made in Sweden out of high carbon steel and therefore comes with the Scandinavian style single bevel edge, which makes it the easiest knife I own to sharpen, as its factory angled at 10-12 degrees, which means, lay flat on the stone, tilt slightly forward, and push. These MoraKnivs are perfect for everything, one of my best discoveries thanks to a good friend I met on top of a large mountain. Nowadays, when Im going on a long wilderness camping trip, I throw two Moras in my pack before I even think to do anything else, and I curse myself for ever investing in those over priced and sensationally overhyped survival knives (see tom brown tracker). I cannot recommend Moraknivs highly enough, you cannot go wrong.
