Greater than one weekI purchased this knife for my 10-year-old sons Christmas. It was razor sharp; which was good thing because the first time my son attempted to open it, he covered the scabbard with his finger. Upon drawing the knife he sliced himself to the bone. His statement was he did not feel a thing. Long story short, he learned his lesson the hard way but he loves this knife.

> 3 dayFrugal shopper here comma and I could not be happier with the quality of these knives at their price point. I use them in the kitchen, on the boat, and general around the house use. The blade is razor sharp and sturdy. At this price I promise you wont be disappointed.

> 3 dayMora makes great knives and this one is no exception. It is high carbon steel and not stainless, so if you want a knife that is going to be nice and shiny at all times, then you may wish to select a stainless version. Personally I like carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and just a better feel to it, a bit more compliant in hand, for lack of a better description. The knife comes sharp right out of the box (shaves arm hair), and the blade has a good thickness to it for the rare times you may need to put a soft mallet behind it (probably not recommended by Mora). The blade does not have serrations in it, if that matters to you. Makes it easier to sharpen, too. The handle is sized for big hands, and the plastic sheath is easy to clean. A great field knife for yard use, too. Recommended.

> 3 dayNooooo thank you. I didnt use it to baton anything but 2 days into a camping trip it was already dull. Yeah, its super easy to sharpen but it goes dull immediately. Im also not too fond of the fact that unless you constantly oil it or treat it it will rust right away. Yeah, I tried the vinegar treatment but the good rust you get rubs right off. The sheath is just a joke. The handle is really nice and grippy but thats about the only good thing about this knife. Dont waste your money, spend a little bit more and get something useful.

> 3 dayMora knives are great cheap knives you can keep in any sort of tackle box, emergency kit, go bag, car trunk bag, tool kit, garden shed, etc. I buy them when theyre on sale and figure out a use for them later. My wife ended up keeping this one by her bedside because its bright enough to find in the dark and makes her feel secure

> 3 dayIt lives up to the reputation Mora has built. Theres just no reason you shouldnt have one or five of these around the house, shop, car, etc. You wont be disappointed with them, and honestly I would have paid more for it.
