Sharp out of the box. Good sturdy feel. Definitely would buy more Moras.

Not the sharpest knife Ive ever purchased, but the blade/knife is in good condition and well manufactured. A few good pulls through my Smiths PP1 Pocket Pal Multifunction Sharpener and the edge cleaned right up. The sheath is kind of cheap, but its not terrible and for the price Im not going to complain - just saying :) This is the second Mora Ive purchased and Im quite happy with them. I also own the Morakniv Craftline HighQ Robust Trade Knife. Both do well on our camping/hiking trips. With reasonable use and care (these are NOT heavy duty / full tang knives) they should hold up well for a long time.

Product just as described. Used around the campsite and in the woods. Solid and durable. Very light, great for hiking. Love the sheath.

This is a great knife and especially for the price. Came REALLY sharp out of the box! Ill happily buy another.

Knife was delivered quickly Impressed with the apparent quality of the knife vs the low price. Looks good and is relatively light weight in comparison to my Buck Hunter and my K-Bar. Of course the latter two are higher quality and more expensive but I can see the Morkniv will be a good working knife and back up to the others. 4 stars because while the sheath works well with the knife, it is rather stiff and I prefer leather sheaths to plastic. More comfortable to carry.

Awesome knife and sharp and took an even sharper edge in just a few strokes. Great knife for a great price and will be buying another one.

This will very much rust and needs to be constantly oiled but it is a great blade

The Mora Companion Heavy Duty is a powerful tool for bushcrafters, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. Suitable for batoning, the Companion Heavy Duty features a thick, 1/8-inch (3.2mm) carbon steel blade with a slightly blunter 27 Degree edge angle for high load capacity and maximum sharpness resistance. The Companion HD has an extra large ergonomic handle with a soft high-friction grip. The classic scandi grind combined with high quality carbon steel makes the knife easy to resharpen. Mora knives made from high carbon steel achieve high hardness, sharpen easily and are exceptionally tough. High carbon steels are preferred in applications that demand durability and frequent regrinding. The material is harder than stainless steel, allowing it to hold a sharper and more durably acute edge. Mora Knives are made from high-quality carbon steel. The carbon knife steels are characterized by ultra-fine carbides that result in superb forging and hardening properties. The absence of large carbide deposits promotes excellent edge sharpness for optimum cutting performance. Morakniv has been manufacturing the highest-quality knives in Mora, Sweden since 1891. Professionals worldwide trust the quality materials and fine craftsmanship of Mora Knives. Mora knives feature ergonomically-designed handles and employ premium-quality knife steel that is optimally adapted to the task for which the knife is intended.
