17-11-2024I love this knife. It is lightweight, sharp as hell, scrapes Ferro rods like a boss. I also like the ambidextrous sheath …for memory issues lol. I used it to my daughters Ferro fire starting. Scraped rods many times with zero issues and it cleaned up all purdy like afterwards

> 3 dayFantastic product. I got this as a replacement for my Benchmade foldable knife as it was recently stolen. I needed a rugged replacement that would be an all around product. I attached it to my daypack as the straps and sleeve that came with it neatly fit on my backpack strap.

Customer Review
Greater than one weekRazor sharp out of the box. Holds the edge very long. Handles extremely well in the hand and is very comfortable to use. Plus it’s very lightweight. Carved a large spoon out of cedar and only needed to hone up the edge once. Awesome deal too!

> 3 dayI am no knife expert, but I do have a handful of pocket and short-bladed utility type knifes (kabar, etc.) When I saw this on Vine, I thought it might make a nice addition to my hiking backpack or camping-gear box. I hadnt heard of Morakniv, but did a little research and learned they make quality knives, made in Sweden. So far, Im very impressed! The clamshell packaging it came in is nice enough... nothing super special. I wish it was a tiny bit nicer, considering how nice the knife is, and so it would make a better gifting experience. But its fine. But once I pulled out the knife and had it in my hands, it felt GREAT. You can just tell its nice quality immediately... the grip is a wonderful size and features a grippy rubber material, and the blade is stout and just feels like a real TOOL that will not only cut well, but pry like a champ and stand up to whatever you throw at it. Weight is perfect - heavy enough to feel solid and quality, light enough to carry easily. Nicely balanced. Really, really nice overall, and I feel like it will LAST. Kind of reminds me of the very nice scuba diving knife my dad used to have. The sheath also seems nice. Its a hard plastic that seems durable, and the knife gives a gentle click as the rubbery grip slips into position. I dont think it would ever slip out. The belt loop is a generous size and features various holes/slits for alternate attachment. The firestarter is a great bonus that adds some functionality that might come in VERY handy someday, without hampering the everyday function of the sheath. The sharpener is another great bonus. A lanyard is included, and it seems fine; not sure if Ill use it. The only question I have is value; not compared to other, cheaper brands - I think you are getting a big bump in quality and design with Morakniv, compared to cheapo blades - but compared to Moraknivs own knives! Their Companion model is highly rated and super duper cheap - you might want to look into that if the size/build/survival aspects of this knife arent necessary for you. But overall, this knife really impressed me and I would definitely look to Morakniv if I needed a new knife in the future. Ill be carrying this with me a lot on hikes/backpacking trips now for sure. Recommended!

> 3 daySheath could be improved For the average everyday user this knife is great. If youve had a mora before you know what youre getting for quality already. The Molle attachment setup is not bad if thats how youre looking to mount it. And the belt carry strap is also nice. I wish they had the retaining strap usable with belt carry no just the mole setup. So I modified mine a little. It was a great carry all week during a hunting trip. And I never worried about it getting loose or rattling once combining the two strap setups.

> 3 dayThe knife is actually really razor sharp. I have a few other moras like Champion and the cheeper ones.. This knife and sheath are MUCH more impressive. It is amazing. If your considering purchasing it the only problem is it will be make you wonder why you spent a few hundred dollars on a bushcraft knife when this is lighter and sharper and does everything you could ask and looks really cool doing it. I train people and I feel in my opinion it would be great to have this knife and a small quality hatcher with a Ferro Rod in your car for emergencies.

> 3 dayThe ferro rod left much to be desired. Replaced it with an exotac fire rod and now I’ll be taking this everywhere with me outdoors.
