> 3 dayGreat! I’m a huge fan of Mora as both an entry level tool, and a collectors piece for a knife snob, haha. I took it hunting with me, and I’ve even used it to slash open amazon packages, it’s awesome. Absolutely love it. You won’t find anything better, or of a higher quality for the price, and even for a great deal more money.

> 3 dayThe knife is great, but I cant say much for the fire steel. All I can get is minimal sparks unlike more robust fire steels. So I got a 5/16 drill and drilled the bottom hole on the fire steel holder and replaced the fire steel with an Exotac fire steel.Fits in the holder like a glove. Now all I need is a short length of 1/4 thick bungee cord so the fire steel stays put in the holder. All you bushcrafters out there I highly suggest replacing the fire steel with the Exotac fire steel. When you need a fire in a hurry you cant afford to be messing around with novelty junk.

> 3 dayI seem to have gotten a returned knife. The tip was chipped, like someone tried prying with it, and there were fingerprints and plier marks on the blade. Starting to like Amazon less and less.

> 3 dayI ordered this knife for 39.99 for the orange with a cheaper green version avaliable. I was expecting the worst. A cheap knife made in China that I would soon badly dent or break. I was so incredibly pleasantly surprised when it passed every test with flying colors. I jammed the tip into a tree and bent the tip. Batoned a rock hard wood log, and made a sharp spear with all bark stripped off. I then cut a banana with it and it was razor sharp. Sharpest factory edge ever. More durable than my most expensive knives. BUY THIS KNIFE.

> 3 dayI am a out door educator and survival instructor. I was looking for a easy to use stainless steel knife that was price friendly and would get the job done. So I bought one to try out. It is now my everyday carry. Its that good

> 3 dayIve had this knife for about six months. I use this knife for just about everything in the kitchen. It stays sharp and the grip is great for wet hands. When its time to take a camping trip, I grab this knife and it goes into the pack. The provided sheath is great and offers drain holes so that you dont retain water in it. Well made and the blade keeps an edge well.

> 3 dayGreat knife! I have several different Mora knives of varying sizes and builds. This one rivals the heavy duty version of the Companion for heft and use. The 90° spine is a plus, as is the small ferro rod included. Theres also a diamond sharpening strip, but Ill never use that except for chipped edge repair as its way too coarse to maintain the fine edge this comes with. Ill stick with whetstones and stropping, thanks. Seems like a gimmick rather than practical. The dual grind is interesting and functional for finer work near the tip. While I prefer carbon steel for bushcraft, this one has the stainless blade. Its JUST a hair thinner than I like for serious crafting like batonning, but is still robust enough for that - could be just a little thicker, especially when using the more brittle stainless. This ones going in my hiking pack.
