Works like a charm!

I was between this and the TP-Link 8-port, but the reason I settled on Netgear is their spec sheet indicated 16gbps internal switching capacity! TP-Link was unknown or a maybe, and I tried looking for the specs.

Plugged it in and havent had to touch it since.

Quick easy and reliable. Plug it in. Plug the Ethernet feed and cables in and you’re instantly good to go.

This is a great price for an 8 port gigabit switch in a metal housing. The metal housing acts like a bit of a heatsink however this does not get overly hot. Was able to get gigabit throughput on this switch.

Functional device, but when connecting to 10MB, 100MB, of 1GB devices they all light up the 1GB LED.

easy to set up. just plug and play. pushes the signal to outbuildings 150 ft from the house with no drop in speed

Used this to run my wired networking throughout the house and has worked awesome! Simple plug and play installation with great speed and throughput!

Excellent quality managed L2 switch! The built-in vLAN capability is very useful if you don’t have that setup at the gateway layer. Having used several other brands of managed switches, I feel this Netgear switch has the same (if not more) features as others and costs much less.
