> 3 dayThis is a great price for an 8 port gigabit switch in a metal housing. The metal housing acts like a bit of a heatsink however this does not get overly hot. Was able to get gigabit throughput on this switch.

> 3 dayExcellent quality managed L2 switch! The built-in vLAN capability is very useful if you don’t have that setup at the gateway layer. Having used several other brands of managed switches, I feel this Netgear switch has the same (if not more) features as others and costs much less.
