> 3 dayThe first one received all the ports died in a couple days even though the power was still on. I reset it several times but the porch never recovered. Amazon sent me a replacement. Im testing this out for a couple days. Will update my status for this product if it pans out.

> 3 dayLoaded all eight ports, it runs like a champ, delivers the whole 400MB/S internet access across Cat 6 shielded cabling, as advertised, with 1.2 GB/S transfers within the network, a little faster even than rated exactly as do the others in my network. Netgear makes great stuff, from the wireless router to the 3 Netgear hubs in my home network, the pieces run and run without thought once installed. Kudos!

Greater than one weekWent from 5 port to 8. easy to install. Connected RJ45 from modem to one of the ethernet ports. Plugged into power. It worked like a charm. (Plug n Play)

Greater than one weekIve had the Netgear GS308 for about a week now. I just needed to expand my AT&T Gateway beyond the 3 ports on their gizmo. This was reasonably priced, had good reviews, and Ive had success with Netgear products before. To my delight, this product is pretty much plug and play! Not a lot of controls, but for our home, its just right.
