The 3 rd port wouldn’t enable my computer to access the internet. Had to run hardline from blanket WiFi device instead.

This product is excellent. Setup was easy, plug and play. Product as opposed to some earlier switches I have bought, runs very cool even in high traffic. I plug the switch into the my network, plugged a PC, an ATT cell phone booster, another Netgear switch and an Apple Router into the new switch, everything worked perfect. Powering the switch with a UPS. this device is a great addition to my office expanding my wired Ethernet network. Glad I made the purchase.

The cumulative port speed has reduced our thin-client from crashing or requiring a network reboot.

1 star for WIFI. I fail to see how WIFI figures into this review.

This was so easy to install. Totally plug and play. I was able to connect my blu-ray player, av receiver, etc to this.

Works every time right out of the box. Has the metal housing that differentiates it from the cheaper units.

It does exactly what it says: 8 gigabit ports. Not manageable at all, no vlans, nothing, just a switch. Very well constructed.
