> 3 dayThis is NOT a wifi router! It’s a switch. Essentially a splitter for ethernet lines... Plug line 1 into the source of your network signal (like your cable modem) and plug your other devices into it. Plug the power cord in and wait about ten seconds. Watch the blinking lights.

> 3 dayTL;DR RMA is more expensive than the switch itself to honor the warranty, just buy a new one.

> 3 dayI own a Nighthawk X6 router and needed more LAN ports. This switch met the requirement. Of course, now I need to replace my old CAT5 cables with CAT6.

> 3 dayI know it isnt considered a great practice, but we use these switches in a small office environment to connect multiple devices to one line going back to our router. Our use case is not very data intense and this is a perfect solution to avoiding running addition hard lines. It also seems to give better and more consistent performance than does our alternative of connecting fixed devices (printers, phones, desktop pcs, etc.) via wireless connections.
